Keeping people off her lawn is the least of her problems right now. Last night I felt bad for the GPs, but today she is really pissing me off!!

George, I feel for George. It seems Cindy is starting to show signs of being like Casey. Or maybe it's more like Casey is showing signs of being like her mother.

I am going to give Cindy some slack and hope she is only trying to hold on to something rather than face the truth. Who wouldn't want to "undo" all the horrible things of the past week.

There comes a time when she must face the truth. I pray Cindy can face the truth and look to others for the strength she needs to cope.

Neither Natalee, or Tim's daughter were murdered by a family member. I'm not sure how they can help frankly.
If LE knew where to look, they'd be looking. Volunteers have looked, and are looking, but she's a very little girl in a great big area. Where do you start? And don't say with Casey, cause she'll just tell ya the nanny took her. She'll say try N.Y. or N.C.
I expect mom and daughter are online looking for Zanny as we speak. jmo

There is no reason for Cindy to believe Casey, she knows exactly what Casey is about. The Anthony's have shown what side they are on, and It's not Caylee's.

I too think that without a body being found Cindy will likely never believe that her granddaughter is deceased. I don't think there will be any forensic evidence that will convince her. The standard she has set (in her despair and denial) is a body. No body, no dead grandchild.

the little body might never be recovered. This is why IMO Casey waited before she told anyone. If she put Caylee in a dumpster, Ive been told all the stuff in them is burned. They dont have landfills in FL. So it is possible Caylees body may never be recovered
How will cindy deal with it if she does get told they found the body? I still think she will deny it, Caylee might be beyond recognition by now. boy thisis hard to write

I respectfully disagree. I believe it was $4500. I don't think the Anthonys have a cc with an unlimited line of credit, jmo. And I heard on the 911 calls, and the phone call from Casey that Cindy was confronting her daughter about the lying. i also believe my daughter wouldn't sit in jail for 3? days if she knew where my grandchild was, except of course for the other option, which is as stated rejected out right.

Someone on this board posted a link showing all the landfills/dumps in the area. So I do think they have them, yes.

Cindy came out of the house and started hammering in "no trespassing signs." She said Casey is not going back to jail. She went down to tow yard today, and he told her that the smell in the car didn't start until a week after he had the car.

IMO: She's trying to set up that someone else (not Casey) put Caylee in that trunk.

I think Cindy is having some sort of breakdown. It was one thing when she was just talking too much, but she's getting to the point where she's not even rational.

IIRC, it was the stealing from the grandparents that got Cindy in such an uproar the last part of May, and Casey's lies were beginning to unravel. imo, if Casey hadn't taken Caylee, Cindy would have already been in court trying to get custody. I personally think that's where this family was headed, which may be why we are discussing it today.

I truly do not think that Cindy is going to be charged with anything. They would need to prove that, for instance, she knew she was 'tampering with evidence' when she washed those pants she found in the car. They can't prove that she KNEW or intended to obstruct justice. Being in denial is no crime in the courts. It's sad, yes, but a crime? No.

I'm just not sure if it was because Caylee loved her gramma so much, or that her gramma loves her Caylee so much. Usually when questions like this come to me, I generally decide it was both. Casey was jealous of the love they had for each other, plus the lies, and false life unraveling setting the rage or whatever in motion.

Again I agree with you, whatever happened to Caylee was no accident. I think Casey's jealousy, her desire to party rather than be a mom, Cindy's (I'm assuming) demands that Casey straighten her act out and take care of her daughter - it all led to Casey resenting Caylee. I doubt Casey ever truly had any real maternal feelings for Caylee to start with. She just used her as a tool to get her way with Cindy and George.

The odds of any child suffering a fatal accident are relatively low. Factor in a mother who resents the child and considers the child to be a burden --the odds that it was an accident go even lower. When the mother doesn't report what happened, hides the body, lies about the child's whereabouts, and carries on with her life without a care in the world.......no way was it an accident.

I'm a proponent of 'tough love,' meaning if I had a child (I don't) and that child stole then they would have to face the consequences of their own actions. I think that's the only way we humans learn. If someone saves your butt when you do something (morally or ethically or legally) wrong every time then you never learn that there are consequences for your behavior and you are ultimately responsible for what happens as a result.

Now maybe that doesnt' matter when one is dealing with a sociopath--maybe there is no amount of 'consequences' that will teach such a person or alter their behavior. But no, I would NOT cover up for my child, no matter how hurt or distressed I was.

That's precisely why when my 21 year-old got arrested for something stupid, I let his butt sit in jail for two weeks. He learned a valuable lesson; one he would not have learned had I bailed him out.

They call it Tough Love for a reason.

First....has anyone actually seen a woman that is supposedly babysitting Casey?

Second....The Padilla family inserted themselves in this case. I would be more inclined to believe the "it's for Caylee" explaination for the bail, if it had been revoked when it became apparent that Casey was not going to talk. This is not normal procedure for a bail bondsman. 24/7 security? IMO, this stopped being about Caylee when Casey was bailed out.

Unfortunately, LE and total strangers seem to be the only ones looking out for Caylee.

A child left in a car seat in a hot car would be considered 'accidental' and (usually) without malice. I believe that would get an involuntary manslaughter type charge (maybe gross negligence too). Depending on the situation I suppose they could go for a tougher charge. But proving premeditation would be a huge challenge.
