Nancy Grace - 9/03/2008 8:00 PM EST

I thought we weren't supposed to name call.
Isn't calling Nancy "Disgrace" name calling?

Nancy's a public figure. I believe this is fair use, and my shorthand way of saying that I'm not a big fan of her show --The Nancy DisGrace Show.. I watch her show for the news, the clips, the interviews. The show would be more informative, the less she talked. I think she's a terrible host.

Would it make a difference if instead, I wrote that The Nancy Grace Show is a disgrace? I'm expressing my opinion on a National TV show hosted by a public figure.

NO, Casey is not a victim--she creates victims and continues to! She's vile, imo.

Didn't Leonard say today that he'd be willing to re-post Casey's bond with the stipulation that she must reveal the location of Caylee's body?

Sounds like he wants it in writing this time, although the chloroform evidence may change everything yet again.

How would that work? Would Casey have to cooperate prior to being released? Would she be released first, only to renege?

It's only a matter of time, anyway, before the charges against Casey are upped, perhaps mooting Padilla.

It certainly bothers me that Kobe was contacted by Baez..as he said last night.

And now he sounds so defense oriented...

I cant stand these guys who are paid guns...

I have always believed that Dr. K is THE only one of those that I can trust to give an unbiased opinion. I think he's as honest as the day is long, and that even if he were hired by the defense, he would not ever flat-out lie the way some hired experts have done. He may give opinions about possibilities more favorable to a defendant, but when questioned by the prosecutor, he would be truthful, even if that truth hurt whomever hired him.

The past two nights, he has come up with alternate theories for evidence when ASKED to by Nancy! She will ask him what else it could possibly mean, and he'll try to explain (and even say he doesn't think it's likely), but Nancy will then act like he came up with it out of the blue, just to take the side of a defendant. I hate when she does that type of thing to her guests -- asks them to speculate and then jumps on them for doing what she asked them to!

I think Dr. K. is one who will not put his good reputation on the line or sell his soul for money or fame. I hope he doesn't prove me wrong. I think so much of him that I'd be heartbroken!

I think she is intelligent and witty, the rest is just an act to prove she is a tough cookie. I'm not saying her coy attitude doesn't hit a nerve every now in then, but I wouldn't refer to her as a disgrace..those are some bold words for someone who admits to watching her show. As always JMHO.

The lies Casey tells just grow deeper and deeper. She told him the car was fine at amscot her dad would take care of it. Then when he asked her about her later on she goes into an elaborate story on how it's at the dealer (naming names of people who were working on it). Oh, and let's not forget........dad's looking into getting her a new car!

I'm not watching the show so could you please clarify? Is Lee saying Casey will come clean and lead to the body or is LP saying separately two things? Is he saying he told LEE he'll bond her on that condition or did Lee say that? I'm just trying to understand if Lee believes Caylee is dead since we haven't heard from him lately.

LP is saying if Casey tells what happened/where Caylee is at.. he would bond her back out to go through the trial.

Why this contridicting is beacuse he wanted to put her back since it wasnt "safe for her to be out."

Does it think it will be safe now???? I think he just wanted to put her back because the DNA evidence came out and he didnt believe her anymore.
He couldn't just SAY that... so he said blah blah safety..

He should just back off now -- he is no longer needed. IMO

I think it's because no one can wrap their mind around the fact that a beautiful young woman would so callously murder her beautiful baby girl.

I get the feeling that LP thinks Tony was in on it or is really the one to blame, and can't figure out why or how he has come to that conclusion. But, like LP, I'd like to know what time Casey was picked up from Amscot and what type of groceries she had. If it was for breakfast or other things.

The computer searches is certainly another piece of evidence linking the chloroform to one or some of the Anthonys. It's increasingly difficult, if not impossible, for the defense to get around that. But it's still not irrefutable evidence that Caylee's death was caused by chloroform.

You're right. But I didn't say that it caused Caylee's death. I'm simply stating that all of the reasons the defense attorneys and the forensic expert are spouting do not hold water given there are computer searches for chloroform.

But certainly not since it was banned in the USA!!

And do her lies ever end? Casey told Tony that her dad took the car to a dealership and she was getting a new car..on a trade in????

She is a total sociopath! I mean...the worst I have seen.

A new car! Here she is jobless, getting her mother's house and a new car, what in the name of God did this girl have planned here...to murder her parent's? She is the worst sociopath I have ever seen, I can't believe I am going to say this but I think she is worse than scott peterson. Just plain evil...

Unless, like another poster just mentioned, the searches contained threads like "How to kill someone using chloroform" or "how to use chloroform to kill someone quickly".

That would pretty much cinch it, wouldn't it?

YES!! She is horrible and has left victims in her wake..wherever she goes..now its her daughter...and she is still cold and calculating.

Anything BREAKING or BOMBSHELLING on the last 5 minutes?

Comcast broke in again.

  • #216
Why didn't Nancy answer the second question by the last caller regarding the chloroform coming from a hospital, CA is a RN after all.

It's only a matter of time, anyway, before the charges against Casey are upped, perhaps mooting Padilla.

I could have sworn that LP stated that Lee asked him if he would bail her out again if she said where Caylee was. But wouldn't she be right back in jail on other charges anyway?

  • #218
She would have to deliver the goods then bond would be re instated

with other charges it may be short lived . I doubt Casey will take

the offer - being in jail may not bother her much - nothing else seems to

  • #219
I have always wondered the same thing:waitasec:

I don't think so. She told her friends before Caylee went missing that her mom changed her mind about the house.

Unless they can show the internet searches happened around the time she was telling her friends about getting the house.

I know you want to. :D

Arrest 'em all and let Leonard bail 'em all out. Meanwhile I'm watching "Dog" tomorrow night.
