Ok...I have a question and I haven't seen it addressed on the show. How did Casey expect to get away with writing all these bogus checks? I'm serious! I can't come up with anything other than she really does not live in the real world.
Great question. How did she think she was going to get away with that?!

The minimum on the child neglect is 5 years. Every prior conviction you have makes the sentence longer. So the fact they are not charging her all at once will help make her sentence longer.

Yes...accurate and agreed!

I doubt she'd have it to give back. We all know how she likes to shop!:furious:
Restitution. She'll have to pay -hope she can't use her "defense fund" for that.

O/T From now on, I am not going to respond to any people who post things just to start an argument. If everyone did the same, it might stop.

I think she just DOES NOT CARE. Right? Checks / Caylee....all the same to her. That girl is beyond disturbing to me.

I could swear that is what I heard him say and is piqued my interest, but I have been wrong before....

Like the lawyers telling me to not to talk to my child about the case of my missing grandchild that went missing on her watch would carry any weight. I would be on her every waking minute and waking her up every hour on the hour to ask the same question "Where is Caylee?"

This is where you have to decide what your priorities are, finding Caylee or protecting your daughter or keeping the blinders on so you can continue to live in fantasy land.

Lawyer be damned, someone has to ask her the tough questions, why not her parents? They can always get the info then pretend that they didn't and come up with some cover story and still find Caylee's body. It is not like they don't know how to lie.

The bottom line is either you are choked up, worried sick about a tiny lost child, or you're not. There's no middle ground. Once you start throwing your support behind a twentysomething party girl, you've made your choice.

How anyone could not choose Caylee is beond me. But, the reality is that maybe the A's know something that makes the choice easier for them...I mean the not looking, not asking, not searching. There is no extreme urgency to find this child. That's telling.

Per Rick, the folks always covered her thefts. Why wouldn't she feel entitled?

I'm sorry I tried but that last one just got to me.

LP said that JB stops by house to ensure she is alone in her room....
Gee, could he be jealous? Six hours a day is not enough for the guy? What a stud. jmo

Plus she will probably be convicted on the neglect and other charges first so she will have a criminal record. Which ever comes to trial first.
Would a juvie record, if one existed, have any part in her trial? Would that be allowed by a judge?

If she's convicted on the financial and fraud charges first and thus has a criminal record, won't that have an impact on any sentencing in another trial, such as a murder trial?

I think it's what the shrink on the show said. I thought it was great.

When she said that neurotics build castles in the sky and psychotics live in them.

(she was describing Casey; I think that was it)
That was perfect.

I have been convinced GA was lying from the beginning. There is no way any of that happened, the way it was told. This is a cover-up.

Actually, I have been on the "KC acted alone" fence for a while now and even voted that way on one of the threads. HOWEVER, after tonight when LP was speaking of the lie detector tests....I did question this.

The DA can ask for anything he wants but ultimately it's the Judge who decides her sentence. It would also be completely unethical & illegal of the Judge to issue a harsh sentence because the Prosecutor has suspicions that Casey is a murderer.

Seemed to work when they set bail on the neglect charge though.
