Yes she could have short or long term disability which is normally a percentage of pay. This is provided by some employers..it's normally a benefit that you pay for like health insurance.

I still think she put the Pizza in the trunk so when GA picked up the Car or whoever opened the trunk would assume that the Pizza was causing the odor.

LE should find out exactly when & where she purchased the Pizza if they havn't already done so

I think that we have to put the squirrel thing into perspective. I live in florida. I just had either a squirrel or a fruit rat die in my attic. I know this because of the smell which lasted a grand total of 5 days and was only bad for a couple. Give it a day or two to smell strong enough to get into the one room that ever smelled. We are looking at a week at most, then the smell would be gone. On the under carriage of the car, probably no smell at all even if some of it was stuck to the under carriage which I don't see happening. Under the hood, there would be air circulation so I would say a week at most then gone. I grew up around animals and hunting so take it for what it is worth.

Was TL approached by LE to get info from Casey on the sly??--- I think so- there's something in the Tony intv (pg 32) where they ask him for something to which he agrees and they say they don't want to discuss it on this tape. Wonder if that happened and if there's anything revealed?

Yes, that's one of the stories Casey told. She told AH on June 27th that her dad borrowed the car and ran over a squirrel. She told Lee that a pair of squirrels were nesting under the hood and died.

I can believe that squirrels might nest under the hood of a car, if the car was parked in a field and never moved but I doubt Casey's car ever stayed parked long enough for squirrels to nest in it.

There's been lots of "no body" convictions. It just makes it harder on the prosecution, as they have to have enough evidence, either direct or circumstantial, to convince a jury beyond a shadow of a doubt.
