And what was with the opening video showing Lowe's and Wal-mart? I didn't think those two stores were on the list of possibilities where the 90 lb. concrete bag came from. :waitasec:

I didn't think they were on the list either but when I looked it up on line for the stores closest to Monroe I found that Lowe's carries a 92.6 lb bag of Quikrete and Home Depot carries a 94 lb bag of Quikrete, both available in the stores.

Ta Take Note, That was interesting to see them after walking out of the show. Like Trisha says, I bet Jennifer will see herself taking off the mike Mon thru Fri and even for weekend re-runs.

I think if she was stupid enough to go on Nancy's show she should have stuck it out and tried to accomplish whatever it was she wanted to get across.

People do reap what they sow in life. xox

Thanks for this thread. I wonder what was JB thinking to try and tangle with NG. JB must not have ever watched NG before. On the local news she takes NG got confused and so did she. OOPS JB, NG was not confused. NG was trying to get a confession. Too bad NG did not leave her drama off long enough for JB to hang herself. I love NG but I wished she had toned it down just for a short time last night from the clip I saw. I will go back and read this very interesting thread.

AMEN! I was screaming at the TV to tell NG to shut up when she kept twisting her words all around. That's how timelines get screwed up and misinformation gets out. First, NG says it's going on 7, getting dark, and you let her go out. JB, no..it doesn't get dark here till 9-9:30.
NG: So between 8-9 it's dark and Nevaeh
JB: No, it gets dark between 9:9:30
NG: So your saying it's not dark at 10:00 where you are??? That is simply not true, I know for a fact that the sun set at 8:55 PM that night...blah, blah...

She kept stretching the time and not ONCE did she actually repeat the correct time it got dark!

I LIVE HERE! I was outside tonite at 9:15 watering my flowers, and no, I don't do it in the dark! It's at LEAST 9:30 before it gets to be nightime!

Jeez...JB does enough to make herself look like an ignorant, non caring mother...NG doesn't need to hammer her INCORRECTLY about what the hell time it gets dark! Move on Nancy!

Also, I noticed that again, NG was flashing that a beer can was thrown into the grave and even asking experts about it. She said a "source" told them. Is NG where this rumor got started? Because I will say again, there is no one HERE in the area that is reporting that at all. I think someone's "Source" got it all wrong.

According to news...Autopsy should be back by tomorrow (9th) afternoon.
I agree. You know,I use to love NG.I thought this was obnoxious for NG to act this way.Twisting this ladies words and everything. This mothers daughter was just found dead. This was very disrespectful to her. This was pitiful and I feel NG really needs to be ashamed and embarrassed she behaved like this. She owes her an appology. She did this to poor Haleigh Cummings mom Crystal too.It was sad.I really feel she is starting to go way to far. This isn't about her or her show. This is about Nevaeh.I would walk off and not want to answer questions any more too after that.I have pretty much lost all respect for NG.My prayers are with Nevaeh and her family.I am very sad they had to go through this. She's a pretty little girl and she did not deserve this.I pray they find her killer and this sweet little girl gets the justice she deserves.

Calling her deceased daughter a liar, provides a clear picture of her attitude generally.

Perhaps even Nevaeh's told her smth about her 'father figure' inappropriate behavior.

But once again she was ASSUMING her daughter is lying.
She must have been pretty comfortable with her 'assumptions'.

Nancy needs to LAY OFF! How is she going to get Jennifer to say a thing in that climate?????

Agreed NB, Nancy is wonderful but she gets really emotional sometimes and I knew she was going to go off. I would have liked to see her more calm and just let JB sink more into her miserable sorry excuse of a life.

Wow. You guys said everything I wanted to say and more.

I watched most of this interview last night until Mr. SleuthyMama called me away from the tv for something. I missed a few minutes but I definitely caught the moment that will forever be known amongst WS'ers....that horrible moment when she had the gall to call her dead baby a LIAR.

As if everything she's done up to that point wasn't bad enough.

I am one of those who thinks she is involved directly. And the all of a sudden throwing out the "I think GK and his girlfriend might have been involved thing" smacks of jealousy to me. Add in the "maybe GK owed someone money" and I am getting a picture of her owing him money for drugs. So maybe she offers up her child as payment, something goes "wrong" and he kills Naveah. Maybe in offering up Naveah she thought she'd get GK back and he'd end it with the girlfriend. Maybe that didn't happen and now she's throwing them both under the bus.

JB probably regretted that statement in her radio interview (link posted on show transcripts thread) about GK owing money to someone, Nancy immidiately brought that up.

Unless that 'someone' he owed the money was JB...

She's the one who exposed her daughter to a sex offender, after all.

Nancy was absolutely disgusted by her..JB must have seen that.

Weeellll, NG is a former prosecutor and clearly had an agenda. She struck gold when Jennifer changed her story yet again. That will clearly come back to bite JB in the butt.

So what did JB think she would gain with going on the show, I wonder yet again? that she could whine about her daughter being a liar about being hungry. Bettin money one of the CPS issues was whether or not the child was fed properly....JMO.

JB has made several odd statements about where NB could be and who could be responsible. One of the first was "Someone in Monroe, but not in the apartments" Sounds to me like she's been making statements to point away from her.

bold is mine. ITA Believe! I also think that Nancy, having those prosecutor bones, really blew that interview. She wasn't trying to get NEW information.. she was trying to twist any and all of the old information that existed. The part about the sunset proves this! Jennifer said nine or nine thirty and Nancy says eight fifty five... come on... that is just crazy.

I really wish nancy would have had on her "police hat" last night instead of her worn out prosecutor one! She could have gleaned so much by being sickly sweet and understanding to Jennifer.

sorry for the rant....

You're absolutely right, SuziQ. I should have fleshed out my thought more to include the fact that she's been making odd statements all along. I think that the original statements and the protecting of GK at first were because she thought she was going to get him back, that he was going to drop the new girlfriend like a hot potato (she can't keep her story straight on the last time she saw her daughter but she sure knew how long GK and SG were dating though, didn't she?). When that didn't happen (and when more and more suspicion descended upon her) is when I think she started throwing out the hints that maybe he owed some $ or that he and girlfriend were to blame.

We are on the same page nurse...I think with a little honey it could have been an interesting interview-IIRC she treated Haleigh Cummings Dad with kid gloves....that might have been pretty effective. Then again, Nancy is a human being who does her show her way-she might have been to hot to nail JB for being "stupendous" as my kids say (a substitute for the uglier word).

I saw Nancy Grace last night, wow did she cut up Nevvaeh's mom or what! She started off slowing, pretending sympathy, getting her to talk...then...moved in for the kill, cutting her off, twisting her words, raising her voice, like only Nancy can, accusing her of being a terrible mother, being at fault for the murder, making bad choices, being a failure, in effect killing her own daughter, making her stammer and blubber like a big baby....wow that Nancy rocks!
No one can come into a tragedy or crime scene like she can and just so totally shred and ruin the victims relatives for our entertainment, and to fill her own pockets with millions, like Nance can. Too bad someone stopped the interview and threw out Nancy's film crew, otherwise I'm sure she could've got 'molester buddy mom' to pee her pants on tv. lol.

Nancy Grace is the female Howard Stern. Stern is the shlock radio jock who invites 'guests' on his show only to cut them up, twist their words, insult, accuse and humiliate them on tv, the more they cry and blubber the better. Nancy Grace does the same but with crime victims relatives.

I'm not sticking up for JB but my daughter is (gonna be) 6 (on Friday!!!) and I trust her to follow the rules - I know JB said she trusted her to do what she said she was going to do and I understand that. What I don't get is her calling her dead daughter a liar but saying she trusts her... I haven't been following this case very much but I'm so sad this poor girl was found this way.
I'm glad I saw this NG bc JB is unbelievable! I hope they figure out soon what happened to her.

Oh boy, this is a difficult one to digest (as a mother of 5). I have an incredibly mature 6 year-old, but would never ever ever leave him unsupervised by trusting he'd follow our rules. It only takes one bad decision on his part to lead to tragedy. Heck, my 17 year-old still has trouble following our rules from time to time . Actually, I'd feel like expecting him to follow all the rules all the time would be putting way too much pressure and responsibility into his young hands. Just my opinion, of course.

You and me = 2 peas in a pod. I am so overprotective of my son as well, and I'm just a bunch of jelly right now. My now 12 year old just went off with the 6th grade for summer camp. I thought I could do it, but all I do is worry. He won't be home until Thursday! This is my first "letting go" and I just can't stand it.

Now when he was 5, there was NO way he'd be going out by himself - ever.

Yah, I'll probably up all night -- can't sleep anyway :(

Mel

Been there and done that. Hugs to you. You'll get through it...not easily, but you'll get through it. :blowkiss:
