This is why defenses of Ron with "it can happen to any parent" are so bothersome to see.

It's like saying "any child can be killed in a car wreck" to defend parents who got theirs killed by drunk driving with them. :sheesh:

That bad things can and do happen to good, responsible people is never a good reason to avoid holding irresponsible people accountable for taking unnecessary risks with their children's lives.

I think they should take Misty over to Ron's cell, bring in another cot, and lock the two of them in there together. Let the audio tape roll. Keep them in there for hours, days whatev,er.

I don't think either one of them know sign language, so it might be interesting,.

ITA! I know Misty may be head over heels for little ole Ronald but Misty is not stupid....she has street knowledge if nothing else. She is not going to risk spending the rest of her life sitting behind bars if she can help it. When LE comes to Misty with a deal, I bet my :twocents: that she will take it and tell all she knows.

We see that Misty has had other boyfriends and she knows she can get other men besides Ron. She is not going to sit behind bars too long. They may have to make her an offer that she can't refuse in order to talk....she may walk....but if she gives enough information that will break this case open and she had absolutely nothing to do with Haleigh's "disappearance" and just participated in the cover up, I say "go for it". I would like to see her locked up but I would rather find Haleigh, if I had to choose.

As it stands with Ron now claiming tohave a new love,,,I don't buy it for a second.....I believe they are in it up to their eyeballs,,,both of them and I don't believe one will roll on the other,,,,futhermore, wasn't it said by MC's mother they are still spending time together,,,,she even got branded with his name on her butt side.....I have read so much since the arrest, I don't remember where but didn't MC laugh at the local Le, because they had not broken her down,,,I think the divorce was just a ploy to get media and everyone else off their trail so they could continue their drug deals.....They have had a whole year to get their stories straight..........Also, I have a question for anyone....when was RC sent home for being drunk on the job???

I don't believe that he has a new love either. Up to this point, they both have remained loyal to each but now that they're in situation where they could spend a substantial amount of time behind bars on drug charges, Misty will crack. I just don't see Misty refusing to take a deal and spending her adulthood in prison for Mr. Ronald.....NOPE DON'T SEE IT. JMO

Lele, it's so so many details to this case. We just heard about LE finding out some details of what happened in the days leading up to Haleigh's disappearance. Since you have fresh eyes, maybe you should start there. You should start with what went on the weekend BEFORE Haleigh went missing Mon. Feb 9. There's a thread on pg 2 titled "The weekend before Haleigh went missing".

az, I hadn't caught up yet, but did catch a bit of NG. Enough to :sick:..You're exactly right, especially when your threats are to people that don't exist! Funny, now that he's locked up and nobody can ask.." Ronald what are you doing to find HaLeigh..why aren't you searching?" he can talk because he has a ready made excuse for that question. How very convenient for him...and TN now that I think about it. :furious:

I wonder how long Misty can just sit in her cell, hearing through the jail grapevine as well as phone calls home, how Ron and TN are pointing the finger directly at her and keep silent? Seriously, how long can she hear this without losing it? Since I am one that believes Ronaldis directly responsible for HaLeigh's disappearance (didn't always feel this way though) with Misty being there and knowing exactly what happened, I have a feeling that if R & TN keep running their mouth, Misty is going to develop a very serious case of verbal diarrhea and then the chit will hit the fan! Can't happen soon enough and I can't wait...

Unless something else was discussed tonight re: being his being sent home from his job for being drunk...I've never heard exactly that, but there was talk earlier in the case about something very similar (which we can't discuss anymore until confirmed or denied ) but suffice it to say that we never heard sent home..it was arrived @ work..been said as late as 9:30 IIRC. (the actual time being one of the single most things that many of us would love to know) The date in question was the night HaLeigh disappeared and alcohol was said to be heavily involved.

Someone said RC went to work the afternoon of Haleigh missing,,,and he was sent home for being drunk,,,wouldn't that shed a bright lite on the time factor???Someone said mentioned that Le already knew this. They know much more stuff they are not letting us know about the night....so no wonder on one can get a handle of the timeline poor little Haleigh disappeared from the trailer..

Me Too! At first I was really irritated that Ron was able to make all these phone calls and play the 'Poor Me' game with a captive audience. Although afaik, in most local jails you can make all the phone calls you want if someones willing to pay for them. (and we know mommy TN is) Once you get to prison that all changes..and listening to TN was like a bad episode of the Twilight Zone. Of course NG just sent me over the edge! :furious:

Then I got to thinking..Let them keep talking, at the very least Ronald will contradict himself once again..but all that will work against him in the end..and there really is no telling what he may say that may mean nothing to us, but would to LE. After all, they haven't been able to get him to say anything..

The last couple of days though have been very interesting with the sudden about face with Misty. You know she is not loyal enough to keep her mouth shut when R & TN are basically throwing her to the wolves. I'd be willing to bet that her attorney is telling her the same thing. I don't believe she will hold out much longer knowing what they are saying about her..no way imho.


I'm actually starting to think it's possible that we may have answers before the anniversary of HaLeigh's disappearance. Wouldn't that be WONDERFUL?

AFAIK, the rumor was he arrived late and the time was uncertain..never heard he was sent home. LE will not confirm or deny, except to say that they were satisfied with his hours. Whatever that means. We have never heard for sure exactly what his hours were. It has been confirmed that he was caught on tape @ buying cigarettes shortly after 3am. You can check the old rumor threads downstairs for more info. Can't post on them anymore, but you can still read..and there is LOTS there, I promise you..


Many, many of us (including myself) believe the arriving late and his condition, etc but we can't discuss any of it here, since it is still considered a rumor..


eta~ If we knew for certain what hours he worked that night, it would shed an enormous amt of light on this case, you are so right!
