Ronald Cummings is in a place with ZERO tolerance for members of their captive society who harm children. I think this jailhouse "interview" is simply a platform to attempt to get the word out that he's one of the boyz and is innocent in regards to his daughter's disappearance.

Don't think for a minute that members of that society are not well read and completely aware of many if not all of the aspects of his actions that trouble us. A "Cadillac Mouth" won't get a "Volkswagen Azz" past their scrutiny.

Where he now resides has a Jesse for every James. He needs to tread lightly.

I don't think Geraldo wants to mess with this bunch anymore. Just like TM and Cobra, they all got burned. I think NG is probably getting there too. By the time they are done, there won't be anyone wanting to report about Haleigh anymore.

Yep Kimmie I agree. Geraldo has distanced himself from this whole fiasco. He turned and walked away and will not look back. But to himself he KNOWS what is what. He knows what RC is, was and always will be. Geraldo has better things to do and won't waste his time - but I still believe he was wanting to help find Haleigh which is why he got involved in the first place.

Well, I have soft spot for Haleigh, a soft spot for Jr., a little soft spot for Crystal...heck, I even have a soft spot for Misty-(it's easy to feel sympathy for an abused kid), but Ron? NO WAY!!!! If this turns out like I expect, I wonder if Nancy will explain some of this? I wish she'd throw some of that softness Crystal's way. She doesn't have anything to do with this mess & could use the support.

I still don't see how NG and all of her quests are still placing ALL the blame from the night when HaLeigh went missing right up to the drug bust on Misty. I mean come on, Misty has a 6th grade education yet she is running this drug ring all on her own and Ron is just along for the ride? Also RC talks of a girlfriend who is not Misty then why would he pay for a tat that was his name on Misty's back?!?!?!? I hope that LE uses all of the tapes that RC is making from jail to help turn Misty against RC and company. Then maybe we will get some answers on what happened to HaLeigh.

That has been a huge bother to me from the start. :no: LE/FBI tell parents to be sure to use the child's names when making media statements, because it makes the perp see the child as an individual. Still, Ron never (hardly) seemed to be able to, because, IMO, he could not see Haleigh as a person.

He even controls Misty, in as much as a statement of ownership on her lower back!

This is why defenses of Ron with "it can happen to any parent" are so bothersome to see.

It's like saying "any child can be killed in a car wreck" to defend parents who got theirs killed by drunk driving with them. :sheesh:

That bad things can and do happen to good, responsible people is never a good reason to avoid holding irresponsible people accountable for taking unnecessary risks with their children's lives.

Yeah but they told him Misty's bond was reduced to 150.000 and Tommy's to 7500. But his is still sitting there at the same amount as the day he was arrested. Bet that ticks him off.
