It may be that she is comfortable in those darker, more modest costumes.

I think the stars have input in what they want to wear or don't.

I may be wrong. But I thought I read that somewhere.
 
It really wasn't that bad.

Poor thing. I know she's quite red in the face about it.

Nancy is one of my favorites this year. Not the best dancer, but has a great attitude and is working hard.

And I LOVE Carson!!!! Too funny.
 
I saw the show not knowing what had happened. I didn't even know it and was wondering why NG was so quiet and subdued after her dance! Then after the show I learned what happened and thought "no wonder"!

I'll bet she wanted to cry of embarrassment and had to suck it up for the show. How many of us have felt just like that at least once?

Don't worry Nancy, this too shall pass and you'll be able to laugh about it.

I haven't posted in ages, but I just had to weigh in on one of Nancy's "girls" getting out last night!! :eek::eek:

As a former professional dancer (primarily ballet, modern and lyrical) I'm totally gobsmacked that the costume folks didn't use standard costume tape on her!! Nancy has a "healthy" set of breasts......no big deal.....and you can definitely dance with that chest if you plan in advance for a "wardrobe malfunction"!!! Costume tape, people! :doh:
Every wardrobe professional has it......
it's similar to "hem tape" but designed to adhere to contact points between skin and costume material.
At the peak of my dancing career (touring nationally with a well-known ballet company) I used it on certain costumes (and I had itty bitty titties if you'll excuse the language lol!). And YES---even decades ago (gawd I feel old now) there WAS sweatproof tape available. I find it very curious (and strange) that Nancy didn't seem to have these "protective measures" in place. :waitasec::waitasec:
BTW, the cameras/audience can't see the tape if applied properly (and it's super easy to use). It's just like double-sided tape but very strong and slightly stretchy and waterproof.
Disclaimer :peace: The tape can cause some "pull and tug" minor irritation, but isn't that preferable to one or both of your girls making an unscheduled "appearance"??

PS: I would like to see Nancy try an outfit with cap shoulders and a gauzy/delicate "sleeve" to her wrists. I know I'm not explaining this well.....but something akin to a light sleeve that would be more flattering for her. Not poofy sleeves (hehe...like Seinfeld and the puffy shirt) but light and delicate. JMO :)

It's kind of unfair to the others, though, since I don't pay any attention to them -- I can't tell most of the others apart and am not really sure when I glance over casually which is the student and which the teacher. (Told you I'm no judge of dancing ability!)

I agree with ziggy about Nancy's wardrobe person maybe being malevolent with those spangled tank tops. You've got to be really, really slim not to look heavy in those, especially on camera -- and her breasts shouldn't be able to fly out. Perhaps Nancy will have a little talk with her stylist . . . :bricks:
 
I enjoy seeing a different side of Nancy on DWTS! She was cute with her demure smile when her vulnerability shined thru after the wardrobe malfunction. She handled it like a true southern lady, LOL!

Hang in there Nancy! They're just 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬....men show theirs' proudly everyday. And I am sure the twins have probably seen your girls before last night! LOL! (Lucy and Jon David were so cute cheering for their mommy, BTW!)

Nancy shouldn't feel bad about this at all. Not much showed and besides that, so what. That show reveals so much skin that she shouldn't feel embarrassed in the least bit.

I hope Nancy's show will get her lots of votes. I turned over there and saw they were giving her number to call to vote almost the entire show. Stay strong Nancy!

I loved Nancy's hair-do last night. She looks so uptight with her normal style. The extra length and curl gave her a more lively, playful look. I hope she keeps it.

Well...Lisa Rinna (former contestant) was on Nancy's show telling her to "show off the girls". I guess she took the advice to heart. :)
