It actually wasn't her nipple showing, but a tape "pasty" called Nipple Petals. When I saw the close-up on The Drudge Report I thought it was an awfully weird looking nipple and then found out it was not after all.

I haven't posted in ages, but I just had to weigh in on one of Nancy's "girls" getting out last night!!

As a former professional dancer (primarily ballet, modern and lyrical) I'm totally gobsmacked that the costume folks didn't use standard costume tape on her!! Nancy has a "healthy" set of breasts......no big deal.....and you can definitely dance with that chest if you plan in advance for a "wardrobe malfunction"!!! Costume tape, people! :doh:
Every wardrobe professional has it......
it's similar to "hem tape" but designed to adhere to contact points between skin and costume material.
At the peak of my dancing career (touring nationally with a well-known ballet company) I used it on certain costumes (and I had itty bitty titties if you'll excuse the language lol!). And YES---even decades ago (gawd I feel old now) there WAS sweatproof tape available. I find it very curious (and strange) that Nancy didn't seem to have these "protective measures" in place. :waitasec::waitasec:
BTW, the cameras/audience can't see the tape if applied properly (and it's super easy to use). It's just like double-sided tape but very strong and slightly stretchy and waterproof.
Disclaimer eace: The tape can cause some "pull and tug" minor irritation, but isn't that preferable to one or both of your girls making an unscheduled "appearance"??

As a former professional ballroom competitor with a big chest - AINT NO COSTUME TAPE GOING TO HOLD THE GIRLS IN! I had one costume made for me that had zero support and I had to use duct tape to fashion myself a "bra" underneath it. That hurt really bad trying to get off after sweating. I had to use toxic solvent...it was horrible and after that I made sure a good bra and hearty cups were built in. Fleshy just need more coverage and her costume didn't have enough room in the bra cups - hence that natural cleavage gets squished to the center and oops...a bit of the boob sneaks out.

Her costumes simply suck. I know Randall and have had him make dresses for me. I've got a message out to DWTS peeps - stop being mean to Nancy!!!

I finally had a chance to watch it last night. She was FANTASTIC. She danced like she was maneuvering her way through a courtroom. Gotta love her. And her footwork was right on! I was shocked actually. Like I said in a previous post, anything she tries to do, she does brilliantly.

Carson looked kind of silly, so I was a bit disappointed in him.

JR....... my hero.

I've never watched this show in 13 years. I think Nancy helped draw in the viewers. :great: Talk about a cliff hanger!.......... Sheesh! I think I'd rather watch a trial. LOL.

Referring to the chest pains that she experienced yesterday, Ellen DeGeneres mentioned Nancy Grace's "chest" exposure on DWTS during her opening monologue on Ellen today. Ellen quipped that she "didn't know whose chest got more attention: Hers or Nancy Grace's!" :lol: There's no video available yet, but if one becomes available, I'll post it. Video on Ellen website doesn't include part about NG.

I am watching this season too... watching On Demand though, so I can just watch the dancing. I don't like the elimination shows... too much filler stuff. I really like NG in this role. It's nice to see her smiling and not sneering for a change, honestly! I'm sensing some vulnerability and insecurity in her, which we do not see in her show. I think it makes her more likeable.

If I vote, I'll be voting for either NG or JR, and I hope JR wins! Now THAT GUY has spirit!!

Whatever it was, are they trying to save on fabric? This can be prevented if they just made her costumes bigger up top.

I'm thinking NG won't be dancing again without - at-the-least - a transparent mesh fabric (maybe nice & sparklie) across her cleavage fastening her in more securely.

Don't recall Kirstie or Marie O or Lil Kim, or ... others similarly endowed (for example) having this sort of issue ... but as actresses, they might have had more experience working with wardrobe and necklines and knowing what worked and what didn't ...
Goodness knows Lil' Kim has had plenty of practice :yes: ... NG should call her for a consult.

I don't know,but she is donating whatever it is to a foundation for Missing Children. I believe she's done the same with the proceeds from her books.

DH and I were away for a 4-day weekend, and I'm trying very hard to stay awake for a little while longer to watch Nancy Grace dance a Waltz that honors her beautiful and beloved twins, John David and Lucy. Nancy looks lovely and very Grace-ful in an elegant light blue gown. I've cast all my votes for Nancy this evening, and I hope that she dances joyfully and stays in the competition for another week, at least.
