Yes, she could have had a lot of things. The minute your child, with a history of cancer, doesn't feel good, you go to the doctor/ER!

I don't think it outside the realm of possibility that Zahra may have been sick, I just don't believe for one second that that is what killed her. There was blood all over that bedroom, imo. If a child died of a stomach virus in bed, and you were going to "dispose" of her remains via dismemberment, would you do it right there in her bedroom?! No way...not buying this died of natural causes one bit!

ETA: and if there wasn't blood, or semen, or something else all over her mattress, why would it have to be gotten rid of? Couple this with AB's oh so convenient mention of Zahra's entering puberty, and I think it's pretty darned clear he was covering his tracks with a ready made excuse when blood was found. Natural death my eye!

I agree, but just to play devil's advocate: if poor Zahra had a recurrence of lung cancer, could a hemorrhage (or many) account for the luminol/cutouts?

I don't believe what EB is claiming in the letters discussed on NG's show. First of all, she was in the furniture store two weeks before being reported missing and apparently didn't appear to be ill. Secondly, and most important, imo, is that LE has literally torn apart the house which wouldn't have been necessary had they not found forensic evidence, such as on the wall of the bedroom. To me that means blood spatter, which would lead to tearing out the walls, plumbing, etc. And lastly, to answer your last question, yes, why hide the body if there were no signs of physical trauma? MOO

In as much as Zahra's prosthetic leg was as much a part of her entire body as a real leg would be it could be considered as part of her body. The fact that she only removed it an hour before she went to bed means that where Zahra went so did her prosthetic limb. Discovering the limb is discovering part of her body. JMO

Whoa whoa whoa--that "cousin" who wouldn't go live on camera? Why the stilted speech, like they were reading off cards and couldn't fill in the blanks when the cards got swapped? What all was wrong with that? Am I alone in thinking that "secret cousin" who is so scared to speak out for EB publicly and needs shadowed video and voice scrambling MAYBE is not the best witness as to EB's innocence or guilt????

For what it's worth, it's possible that EB was both a battered woman and an abuser herself, imo. I don't see the 2 as mutually exclusive. That said, and unless I'm way off base here, the battered woman defense is used when the husband is murdered, not a child. In other words, Zahra sure as hell wasn't abusing EB, so there's no way this could be used as a defense. IMHO.

LE was taking all pipes, sink, cabinets, etc out of the house...that's what they were talking about on NG tonite.

Seems like maybe the Defense is party to these letters and communications with family to both perform damage control as well as paint EB in a more sympathetic light while pointing the finger firmly at AB.

Don't buy it. It takes two to tango, i.e., pull the series of stunts they did with the fire, ransom note, missing report, etc. They were thick as thieves until it was everyone for them self.

True, but EB has only been charged with Zahra's disappearance right now. Seems early before formal charges will come into play for a defense to build their case. IMO

I find all the letters in a bunch of hooey until EB starts writing about what happened after Zahra died. Let's see, AB and EB didn't kill her. Well, you better come up with her quick EB so LE can confirm it or your going down for murder.
