Thank you all for your posts of NG.... I just tried to watch the online streaming video and had to give up after 15 minutes. Way too much sensory overload.
I thank you all too! Hubby can't take NG's show, so I don't even try to watch at our house. LOL!:innocent:

Seems like maybe the Defense is party to these letters and communications with family to both perform damage control as well as paint EB in a more sympathetic light while pointing the finger firmly at AB.

Don't buy it. It takes two to tango, i.e., pull the series of stunts they did with the fire, ransom note, missing report, etc. They were thick as thieves until it was everyone for them self.

I can't understnd why EB and AB wouldn't have taken Zahra to physician if she were sick! I don't know if I believe that story or not. They just ignored her and let her get sicker and sicker... to the point of death!??? I'm not buying that story.

AND if it's true that Bio mom 'found her', 3 days before the fact, that's the reason for the kidnapping story! they had to come up with a story quick!

If the absolute BEST story EB's legal eagles can concoct is that EB was "abused" and Zahra was sick for 2 weeks and neither of those (unusual people) did ONE D*$% THING about her illness and EB is a poor put-upon abuse victim... then that is a sad sad tale.

Again I say, good luck with that story EB.

When the time comes, a rational jury will decide your fate. I trust those 12 people and their alternates to do what's right by Zahra far more than I trust you or AB.

I agree with your every word, cyberborg! That's going to be a tough sell for the defense team!
What a load of bologna!

Add the manner in which it appears that Adam disposed of his daughter's remains>no way I buy it.

Yes if she died from an illness, why didn't they call 911?

The timeline is becoming more and more suspect to me. If in fact ED found Zahra on the internet (probably her hearing aide video) 3 days before Zahra was reported missing. I wonder if that is the time EB and AB went into "coverup mode".

Some theories going thru my neurons right now:
1) cover up either abuse or neglect of Zahra.
2) cover up medical neglect
3) cover up ever having Zahra in their care (ie: neighbors didn't know she lived there)
4) make sure Emily never got custody of Zahra - not matter what the cost.
5) ED may have called CPS or LE in NC to report kidnapping of Zahra from Aussie. (AB did have temporary physical custody of Zahra in Oz but ED never gave permission for her daughter to leave the country).
6) .....

For what it's worth, it's possible that EB was both a battered woman and an abuser herself, imo. I don't see the 2 as mutually exclusive. That said, and unless I'm way off base here, the battered woman defense is used when the husband is murdered, not a child. In other words, Zahra sure as hell wasn't abusing EB, so there's no way this could be used as a defense. IMHO.

It boggles my mind, each time I see at the end of Nancy show, that the reward money is only $4,000.00. There are two countries involved here and still nothing has come forward to raise the reward. :(

Two weeks was exactly when she was supposedly seen quite fine in a furniture store. Did EB forget about that trip?

MOO

Oh I know. That is very sad... $4,000!
This case is just sad from every angle!

I agree Patty, but then I think it's really all a done deal, and once LE have their ducks sorted out it will be straightforward. At least I hope so!

Not buying that ... what about doctor visits, going to ER, calling 911 ....?

Yup and going to the furniture store. Im sure the witness would have said Zahra looked pale and weak if that was the case.

It is sad Patty but on the other hand, it may be that no amount of money would make a difference if finding Zahra's body is impossible. I hope I'm wrong but it's looking like that may be the case as each day passes. MOO

IMO if EB is a battered woman, I'm sure it will be used as part of her defense. For right now, I think the subliminal message is there to garner sympathy. moo mho

cousin now saying letter from EB said Zahra had virus for 2 weeks & older daughter confirms that.

How do they know Z had a virus? Did they take her to a doctor?

eta: If they did not take her to a doctor, did they feel they were qualified to know the difference between a virus and a recurrence of lung cancer? :furious:
