Yes and no street lights and driveway away from main road. If perp was a frequent visitor to the house, which I believe is the case, they would have no problem turning off headlight and pulling up near house without (they assumed) the camera getting a good shot of the vehicle. Also its possible the camera didn’t capture the driveway, and the perp knew this. They then proceeded to the back door where they knew there was no camera or camera disabled already and entered that way. Before exiting the house through the front door w a possibly already injured NG, they smashed the front door camera, from an angle that wouldn’t show them, then walked to the car w NG being carried, and drove off.

All speculation and all just MOO

I keep thinking of the Tepe case... they had SO much digital and forensic evidence from the get go.... and did not share it for the longest time.

I really hope this is the case here....
It is quite rural, so neighboring cameras is probably non-existent.... but ohhhhh how I hope there is. We just need to put the rumors to rest.

Also 9:30PM is a late time for an 84 year old woman to be out and about.
If she’s active and in fairly good health, which I believe she is, based on the fact that she lives alone. There’s no reason for her not to be able to sleep in. JMO

Given how much blood was by the front door, doesn’t that make the delayed 911 call more suspicious? I’m just trying to imagine going to my mom’s house after she missed a regular activity, finding her gone and seeing blood outside her front door and doing anything beyond calling my local siblings and then 911. Maybe I take 10 minutes to call close friends to see if someone helped her get to a hospital. I think my immediate suspicion would be a head injury and then wandering off, so time would be of the essence. I’d rather be embarrassed at rushing to call for help if she innocently turned up than waste precious time.
The only way that could make sense to me would be if they went in the back door or via a garage (used some other entrance) and did not see the blood right away. Otherwise, I totally agree. I would have called 911 immediately.

I agree... ha ha............ but sooooo many folks have said otherwise. Many many are night-owls.

Not everyone keeps the same hours, many are night owls
Seems so odd to dictate what is late to any age group?

Didn't Banfield just quit her job and go out on her own or something like that? What better way to launch a new channel than to be ahead on the biggest story... question is did she make it up? There should be some kind of penalty if she did

that's a thought, but the Apple Watch would have stopped earlier
I read somewhere that the watch was on charge? I'm getting so lost now with news articles, posts and what's true and correct🤔

Agreed.
And the missing ring doorbell cam(sorry if it's a different type of security cam. it may have been discussed and I missed it ?), would've sent me panicking asap !!
Imo.
It was a Nest unit, I believe. :-)

Hello- a bit late to this forum and so many pages to catch up but has anyone checked this out to see if this could be something? This is on realtorcom and shows a permit for electrical work at NG address. I have searched high and low for the work permit but running into road blocks.
Could that be for a more professional security system with cameras I wonder? We have a security system, but not a ring doorbell because our doorbell faces sideways and points to the neighbors house. We had an electrician come out to give us an estimate to move it, kind of pricey.

Good news is....if in fact the home used NEST cameras...they are only cloud based....they do not offer a SD card version.

Could you please provide an actual link to source for the screenshot. Thanks !!
I did. I updated it. Realtor.com with the link to the house and you just got to the area that says improvements/permits. It shows all the permits since the house existed.

So because she had work done on her house one time that means... what exactly?

If I was going to murder a family member, I would make it look like family member wandered away with door open. Then when media made that sound implausible, I would send in a fake ransom note asking for crypto because I’m too stupid to think it couldn’t be traced.

Yes, the photo of the mounting bracket on Nancy's front door is from a Nest unit (battery version). I own a network of Ring cameras and used to own Nest cams.

Could be. I was also wondering is this could be someone that could have cased the house prior to the event. People inside your house before something occurs you never know if they got an idea before it occurred.
