the judge has to cowtoe to the defence a bit seeing as people are inocent until proven guilty

if he doent thats easy grounds for appeal
It seems most appeal anyway, jmo.

More importantly is that a jury does not buy into this being about health care reform and will focus on the state's evidence and see it for what it is, LM (allegedly) defendant killed an innocent man Brian Thompson in cold blood for absolutely no reason. jmo

im hopeing they will also focus on 11 minutes of missing body and that wasnt there on the first search but then just mystoryesly appeared the net time the bag was searched

Exactly! Murder is no way to achieve healthcare reform.

Wow, I think he deserves more than 3 years. How crazy is that? I wonder if he himself had some MH issues.
The pizza cutter didn’t seal the deal for you? 😉

Good one. If that was actually the case, I might have to agree with you.

they know the jury is less likely to convict in a death penalty case

“Luigi the Musical” is coming to NYC on June 15 — likely in the midst of the real Luigi Mangione’s state murder trial, set to kick off June 8.

Well, that’s interesting. When you think about it, it a very timely and relevant topic / news event for a play. It would certainly stimulate public discussion and analysis of our country’s current health care crisis, while encouraging the age-old debate about ”vigilante justice”

I think it would bias jurors. It's poor timing and in bad taste, IMO.

There is too much confusion re LM.

He was not trying to stimulate discussion of health care or health insurance.

He allegedly committed a cold blooded assassination.

This ‘play’ is in very poor taste.

I didn’t mean that Luigi was trying to stimulate discussion about the U.S. health care crisis. I meant the play itself would stimulate that discussion about how we, as a society are (not) dealing with it. JMO, that’s the bigger problem that needs resolution.

Luigi is an example of how not to deal with it, but is an example of what can happen when we fail to deal with it. JMO

ETA: I realize that’s a complicated concept for some, but that’s ok. Some will still misunderstand the point I’m trying to make, but I’m willing to risk it in order to further discuss this important topic.

The musical won't make a difference, IMO.

It'll make no difference to his trial.

Leaving aside some extremely unlikely procedural error, he's going down.

All IMOO, obvs.
