Monopoly Money has me back to this filing:

It seems the DOJ had concerns over United Healths acquisition of Change due to concerns of “unparalleled access to health data on every American.” Pg. 3 Sec 5

Th acquisition went forward given the firewall plans and the “convincing testimony of the Sr Executives and their practices which weighs strongly against the governments postion.”

Then the ransomware event..
IF Brian’s the CEO’s own phone was hacked to keep tabs on his whereabouts, does that send a message on the security of the data and the practices testified to?

Eeeeeekkkkk
I wonder if United Health did follow the firewall protocol or profited off of it. Maybe people in the know know something about this

Also, you generally cannot stay in any country as a non-citizen without a visa. (Does anyone know of an exception?) At first I thought he probably left the country; now I am thinking, he most likely just left the state. I am very curious to know what his plan was to escape the long arm of the law. MOO
It depends on what nationality you are thinking of. I am a dual passport holder and one of my passports allows me to stay for up to six months visa-free in about three dozen countries, and those six months are renewable (meaning I can do that for a second time, third time, and so on in future visits, not just once.) For other countries, like the USA, I could only stay visa-free there for three months. It is the same for lots of nationalities.

Idk I feel like the Monopoly money makes it personal to the shooter - he wanted to laugh at the police - or it’s part of the anti-industry message (but I haven’t figured out how)
Ok in the 3 min I gave it - could it be “here UHC, here’s the money I/someone owes you for my claim that you denied”?

Lol. He clearly expected that backpack to be found.

MSNBC is reporting that the backpack that the Midtown shooter ditched in Central Park was full of Monopoly money.

I wonder if he was a recipient of a court ordered payout from UHC due to someone close to him passing due to UHC not covering a procedure, medication or whatever. Hence the "Monopoly" money reference and his somewhat high end clothing. JMO

I too think there is a group behind this, oscillating between an ideological group vs. a money mafia. And if ideological, I think the group would be in the US, and this guy is their hitman. But let’s see what comes out.

Many other theories in this thread also make sense.
What's the cost of a hit these days? My thoughts are the same as your thoughts - US made but a wealthy individual.
