News reports (currently on FoxNews, but I assume similar on other MSM) show the Sheriff's helicopter up yesterday during daylight hours flying over NG's home and surrounding areas. There is an officer sitting (legs hanging out) in the open side of the helicopter and he is wearing some kind of black helmet-like thing that covers his face and it appears he is looking through goggle-like devices on the front of that helmet that must enhance vision somehow.

Does anyone know what that might be? Thermal imaging? Something that detects recently-turned ground?

Wow, after they already released the home back to the family after the Sheriff confirmed they had competed their investigation of the property? Oy vey.

The handling of this case and the demeanor of Sheriff Nanos is some of the most bizarre I've seen. I see he also has a questionable past pertaining to spending allegations back in 2016. He comes off has a bit of a hot-headed personality in some older interviews as well.

Thank you for finding this information. I really have felt that it is someone who has been in her house unrelated to family.

Agreed. Unfortunately, when media gets involved mentioning possible family involvement, human nature is to ignore all other avenues.

This is a Christmas Photo photo of the family from Nancy's Facebook page (source).

Nancy's son in law, Tommaso is on the right. I'm just not seeing this man having anything to do with Nancy's disappearance and I'm kind of appalled at Ashleigh Banfield's report which implicates him when there is no confirmation from Law Enforcement.

I can't imagine the damage an accusation like this has done to the family.
I'm so hoping that Nancy is okay, wherever she is.

The family could definitely hire an attorney for the damages this would cause, maybe they already have.

JMO Just seems to me that if AB is such a great friend to SG why on earth would she implicate SG's sister by suggesting that her husband is a potential suspect. Glad that I have dear friends who would never do something like that to me. JMO
I recently noticed AB wasn't on tv anymore (I dvr'd it because it was so boring that it helped me fall asleep.). They said she left NN to focus on her new podcast. What a way to inform the masses about your new podcast! That I won't be listening to because I'm just not a fan. Nothing against AB...she's just boring.

Without knowing anything more concrete, my guess at this time is Nancy's disappearance is related to some type of money issue ?
No suspects clarified by LE and also no one ruled out or cleared, afaik ?
That recent presser was disappointing, imo -- I have to admit.
Hoping for an update soon and that she's still alive.
Omo.

My daughter and her husband own two homes…one they rent out. I don’t see the confusion.
I just thought maybe their names would be on both of them. And it was just an observation and a legitimate question but thanks for making me feel like an idiot. I'm gonna see myself out now thanks.

I looked up the building permit info on Pima County's permit gateway. Permit was pulled September 2025 and passed inspection last month. (Public Record - Search Link: Records Search)
Project description:

Electrical Equipment; Upgrade under 400amps; MPU or MSA

That being said, it is safe to assume, workers have been on/in that property in 2025 and as recently as this year.
I am now able to find them all and read them online thanks to the Sept date. Thanks so much

NBC News reporting now (1:09 CST): Sheriff: NO suspects ID'ed in search for Nancy. We are "Holding out hope that she's alive..."
I keep thinking maybe the sheriff has some sort of proof that NG is still alive, at least I hope so. Maybe the ransom request is real, and they were able to prove her physical presence somehow? I’m trying to find something to hold onto for a positive outcome.

Do you have a link for this?

Or, didn't have the money to pay back a loan, perhaps, for the house. I believe that I read that AG and husband moved 10 minutes from NG about a year ago. Their house either cost $650k or is worth that. Did they have to borrow money from a family member with the promise to repay? Just throwing this out there. It is mere speculation.

JMO.
Per public records, they took out a mortgage for $355k https://pimacountyaz-web.tylerhost.net/web/document/DOC273S14038?search=DOCSEARCH55S6

I would think that too. Maybe one owned one for years before getting married and decided to keep it for an investment? I don’t think they meant to embarrass or offend you.

Same.
This is just so unexpected and baffling.
Nancy sounded like a person who was living a contented life as a creature of habit and without enemies.

That's why I keep thinking someone who worked for her or was close had something to gain ?
Just scary, the people out there -- and if anyone who has followed true crime and/or WS, there's some chillingly evil folks out there .
Imo.
