Agreed, however as one who has been mildly critical of Tucson LE on this thread I do want to say, I agree we absolutely can't judge LE unilaterally based upon the results (or lack thereof) received... sometimes they don't get dealt useful cards/leads.

Someone has suggested on here that the perp was wearing a latex mask underneath the ski mask in an effort to further conceal his identity or possibly deter leaving behind DNA evidence. At the time I thought it was an unnecessary step and would be hot, but now I wonder. Some of the images look as if something is further concealing his eyes.

His actions which at first seemed casual or amateurish now seem cocky. I’m beginning to think I may have underestimated his evil intent.

If we look at this from the angle that there is nothing else known other than NG last seen approximate timeline, potential POIs raids , recovered Nest doorbell video, and the immediate family being publicly cleared …. What do you see, believe, or feel? Take away motive… what’s the intent?

It’s hard to imagine why someone would take NG. But after the Tepes being murdered by the wife’s ex-husband after eight years (?) of being exes, I’ve considered someone with a long-standing issue with either her or her family.

Maybe even her late husband, even though he’s been gone for many years.

Did NG recently find out some information on someone that threatened his/her way of life?

This case is so unexplainable that I feel it’s either a really simple answer and the perp(s) got very lucky or it’s going to be an unbelievable kind of twist.

Could it be possible, the suspect at the door has on extra clothing to alter their appearance. if you take notice when their left leg takes the step up it does not bend normal, and on the end photo with the stand-alone person the legs are a slight thinner, tell me about your intake on this this.

I have thought all along that there was padding involved as part of disguise.

Who "wants" to get involved?... at this stage, are looky-loos willing to reach out and leave a false tip just for some notoriety/to feel central to some story's beating heart; or is the default assumption that the overwhelming majority of people won't throw up false lead flags in such a situation, because the default desire/level of people is "not to get involved" and not to invite scrutiny?

Regarding Nextdoor, I recall reading an article weeks ago, that said NG had posted something about a misdelivered Amazon package on there. Apparently, she was an active member. I wonder if it that could've been another way to case the property--impersonate a delivery driver? Just a random thought.

If he is ambidexterous and from the US, such people often play multiple sports in high school. Coaches tend to seek them out, even if they do not want to take on another sport.

In my experience following cases, usually that's not something a suspect would normally do. Wearing a disguise, absolutely that's extremely common.

But next level thinking like lets add some bulkiness to it etc just not what's normally in their mind.

It's just very basic disguise like hide my face wear clothing that hides all body parts etc.

But rarely is it make me look like I weigh 250 when I only weigh 200.

Just my opinion based on the many cases I've followed

They are looking for hey I didn't want to get involved but my friend said this and I thought he was joking but he has details that haven't been released and it made me uncomfortable. I think you need to check him out.

I know it sounds bad but I used to get so suspicious of people who would join a couple days after a case broke and started striking up convos in the threads. Now silly me realizes we all got here from searching a case and were new to a thread and maybe people thought we were "fishing". I found this place during the Laci Peterson case and I am sure some people here thought I was Scott a few times because of questions my green self asked then, lol.

I remember people saying really rude things like, "wow, I think we found the killer." If you were a new member and had a good idea, it was brutal. I was blown away by that, said some unpleasant things and got banned, haha.

Just my random opinion, but perhaps the point of taking NG was simply that someone wanted SG to suffer? If so, her videos are feeding into what they set out to achieve. Don't know who would hate SG that intensely, but it could range from a mentally ill person to someone like a former fired coworker who felt intensely betrayed by SG and is trying to make a media comeback. Will be very interesting to see if SG returns to TV and if not, who fills the chair. Always useful to look at motive, means, opportunity. Just my opinions, thinking outside of theories already discussed on here, fwiw.

I submitted a tip during the Idaho murders. Turned out to be way off base but it was in my opinion a lead worth following at the time. I was just trying to be helpful and I would imagine there’s people like me submitting tips here. And there’s definitely some kooks looking to feel like they’re involved in the case.

Some of us living in the area have disliked Sheriff Nanos LONG before this, and for good reason. I don’t see a reason not to bring it up in this case as it’s very relevant to what’s been happening. IMO
