" A source connected to the investigation tells TMZ ... the FBI has looked at the video and says it's a dead end ... the area where the cars are driving as well as the ingress and egress has led the Agency to the conclusion the cars have no association with the kidnapping."

I wouldn’t. I would tell her that a policeman lives two houses down and that I would call him right away to get her help. Then call 911. If they take off that says it all.
The point is not what you or I would do. What would NG do? Her family and friends might have some insight into the question.

If this is true, sounds like LE have a more detailed timeline than what's released publicly and/or some possible camera footage of a vehicle they're looking for/keeping tabs on in a different area. JMO.

I guess it's a stretch to think they may be saying this while knowing the opposite is true? To throw the suspect off?
As I said, probably just reaching here....

Wouldn't it have been much less risky to dump her body in her pool and let time do its thing than to leave a property with a dead body?
Yes. No potential blood in your car, no chance of getting caught with a dead body in your car etc. Wonder why she wasn't dumped in the pool . . .

Seems to point to kidnapping for ransom?

IMO this means they have video of what they think is the vehicle from somewhere else. Likely in another area or going another direction.

Because ingress and egress are pretty straightforward as I outlined in my scenario. The "area" part tells me the source is saying they went a different direction and they are confident of that.

They must have a pretty solid idea to be able to rule this out so easily.

This is just awful to consider, although it's reality. 84, uses cane, heart condition, and assaulted. Just the worst.

As we look at this, objectively, if this is about power, violence, NG is/was probably a very easy target. Alone, elderly, disabled, probably one of the easiest targets for a person who wanted to frighten someone, and control her. And if that was the objective, there is still a very sick, dangerous person at large.

It would be interesting to know if anything from the home was taken. I don't think that has ever been answered directly.

Also, this case got a huge amount of press, I wonder if any other elderly women disappeared in similar circumstances? And it was written off as "dementia"?

Thanks for posting this. Wasn’t it a gray charger also? We saw it when BE walked up the driveway to the house. You would think LE would be more interested in that car than the RR since it was speculated he just acquired the RR at the time it was seized. I don’t have a link to BE walking up. Does anyone know how to find it?
Remember they came and towed the charger right after the raid. I wonder if police arranged the towing? I did see the BE video and there's definitely a charger

Agree. FBI and LE may not want to reveal the info that they know about the suspect, their vehicle, etc. FBI may be acting like they reviewed this vehicle info and it's just not relevant because they want the suspect to trip up and for the suspect to not realize that the FBI knows exactly what vehicle they drive.

Honestly, I can't even tell if the vehicle is white or silver in the video. However, it seems like everyone else can and the fact is that is is silver/gray. I would be terrible in LE.
Could be light blue too ???

Maybe it's the Range Rover they have already. Maybe the reason for the dramatic raid was they had identified the vehicle from footage and had a link established.

-The body would have been found soon and contain evidence of some sort?
-Or perhaps NG was alive when she left the property.

It was reported that the charger was towed for reasons unrelated to this investigation, by the owner's insurance company. The police photographed, tape sealed, and impounded only the Range Rover.

✨In the case of the white Elantra vehicle in the Kohburger/Idaho 4 case:

Police did not immediately disclose on Dec 7 the car's significance to avoid tipping off the suspect.

They said it had been caught on camera in the area, but they pretended not to know the exact year (said 2011-2013) -

✨-nor did they disclose that they had already traced the registration to a suspect whom they were tailing. They insisted they had no names of any POI/suspects.
Kohburger was arrested on Dec 30, 3 weeks from their announcement.

It is possible they are keeping AG's car in custody because the perpetrator placed a tracking device on it, or something like that. I would think that would be on the outside of the car and pretty discoverable so I wonder if they would keep it for something like that.
I've wondered the same. Also perhaps keeping it because the perpetrator(s) may have touched AG's vehicle somewhere if they were tracking NG back and forth between her home and AG's (the evening of Jan 31 and/or perhaps earlier evenings). And if LE later learns that was the case and had not swabbed that spot, it would be unfortunate to have lost the opportunity.

I'm beginning to think the simplest explanation is probably the best explanation. These were a couple of guys who burglarize homes in this area, that got caught off guard by someone in the dark and injured her, perhaps fatally. They wrapped her up in a tarp or blanket to control or conceal her. One ran out to get the vehicle, the other went out front to remove the camera so the car could pull up, They went back in thru back and carried her wrapped body out the front door. I'm thinking in a tarp now because it would allow blood to drip. Perhaps there was no plan and they just got in too deep during a burglary? I am behind in reading posts so apologize if this is a redundant theory.
