Crazy thought. Let's assume ransom is real. What if NG found a way to defend herself and is possibly somehow stuck somewhere? It would explain the lack in communication since the letter was sent. Or possibly, abductor suicide and she can't escape. Dark thoughts but my idea.

The Guthrie family’s heart wrenching video plea last night and the recent video by the brother Camron are absolutely devastating to watch.

Sadly, I believe they are chasing a ghost….

IMO

Just a thought…but since the Bitcoin is legit, and there’s no way to get in touch with the kidnapper, and assuming this ransom note is legit: why not deposit just a portion of the ransom money and tell the perp that they will get the rest when Nancy is released? I believe it would be worth the risk of losing that money in order to get NG back. 💸
I would think it would be hard to put any money to it without proof of life?

Don't exactly have a ton of leverage to be playing those kinds of games with a potential kidnapper, IMO.

Nope, and you can't get it back.

Perhaps SG has an insurance clause for something like this and would get all or some of the funds back. Really wealthy people account for lots of things we'd never imagine having to think of.

Could this just be a scammer not even connected to any of this who decided to try to make some money? If so they are truly sick because they are hindering investigation here. Giving the family maybe false hope, disgusting.

I wonder why there is little info about dinner and the games. Like was it a church event or at a restaurant or other venue or at Tucson daughter house. My guess is victim took Uber to event and maybe Tuscon daughter met up with victim later on? They only lived 4 miles away. I think Uber driver will have some good info as to what went on Sat night, as perhaps victim chatted about her night plans
by all accounts and I have been watching this since day 1 the evening was at Annie's home. I have heard nothing about church or restaurant.

This neighbor is just reporting this now??
To be fair she didn’t elaborate so it could be something she just saw yesterday or today

Gosh. After watching parts of the press conference again and then seeing the son issue his own pleas to a potential abductor, I just can't shake the idea that a kidnapping and legitimate ransom demand is what may have just happened here. In my view, if the family didn't have strong suspicion (and as likely, compelling evidence) that this is the case then there is little chance they would be putting what seems to be a large part of their effort, resources, and - less important but still important - their reputation, towards it.

JMO.
I don’t think it’s just about a strong suspicion- I have to imagine that in scenarios like this, a kidnapping pretty much leaves the only possibility the victim is still alive. Sadly.

I agree with you @MassGuy -

I actually think sexual assault is the likely cause here - I think the sexual assault aspect would explain why there was significant gap between the doorbell camera and the other camera / her pacemaker disconnecting from Bluetooth.

Ugh it makes me sick to type but I think this is likely scenario
Would the 40 min gap not be easily explained by the perp rummaging through Nancy’s things/robbing her? That’s what I assume they were doing. I’ll be shocked if this was a sexually motivated crime.

Possible, but the official timeline suggests that the doorbell camera was disabled at the beginning of the incident, not the end.
The "incident"'could have happened before the doorbell camera was disabled. They could have entered through a different door etc

This time Nanos is on NewsNation with Elizabeth Vargas. They're discussing Camron Guthrie's video.
Maybe I am out of touch but is it part of his job to go on every talk show?

On Anderson Cooper tonight guest Harvey Levin revealed the ransom note that TMZ received stated that NG was "safe, but scared"

It's a very long time there to us and of course to NG but we don't know at this particular time and sure hope not. IMO
