I had not seen that close-up before. I think that spatter/spray is a bad sign.

Agree. When I previously first saw the photo the larger blood “splatter” caught my attention as it looked different than the blood drops. I didn’t enlarge it to look at it more closely at that time, however I just did this and it does appear to be more of an aerosol-mist type (high-velocity) splatter.

I’d love to hear what others think - especially those with experience in types of blood splatter.

Omg. What about any homes in the area for sale? Surely they would have noted that and asked realtor to let them check it out.

As far as her body being out in the desert, wouldn't someone have noticed buzzards? Maybe with all the brush they'd be hidden when on the ground.

Have your frail, mobility limited 84 year old Mom take an Uber to daughter house 4 miles from home when daughter or son in law had car to pick up is just despicable in my opinion. I wish Uber driver took NG home cause maybe she would still be alive and there would be proof of NG actually returning home.

I don’t think it’s fair to blame the family at this point or call them despicable. They are victims too.

Law enforcement can get a TFR..... temporary flight restriction. It bans drones from operating on the airspace

Correct me if I’m wrong but a TFRi only works or commercial drones, such as DJIs, that use gps data for positioning. A “homebuilt” drone wouldn’t necessarily be automatically restricted. And I think I can even override the restrictions on my DJI. It’ll throw up different warnings but I can just cancel those, and it won’t just drop out of the sky or fly off in a random direction (usually).

Investigators have found that the home’s doorbell camera was disconnected early Sunday and that software data recorded movement at the home minutes later. But Nancy Guthrie did not have an active subscription, so none of the footage was able to be recovered.

“It is concerning, it’s actually almost disappointing because you’ve got your hopes up,” Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos told The Associated Press in an interview at the department’s headquarters. “OK, they got an image. ‘Well, we do, but we don’t.’”

In Arizona those are known as casitas or guest houses. But we don’t know for sure what its use may have been.

LE also has stated that she was taken out of her bed against her will which makes me think her blood might have been found in her bed with a trail leaving her bed and exiting the home - and/or sheets/blankets gone with her - and/or no shoes missing etc.
