After watching some of the body cam footage what is incredibly telling for me is his lack of genuine care and responsibility for the children. During the 911 call, he was not aware of the children. The operator had to really work to find out about their well-being.

On the bodycam footage I was constantly worried the little girls were going to wake up and wander out and find their murdered mother and/or their hysterical father. As a parent surely your primary concern and responsibility is to ensure that when the children woke up they would find comfort and reassurance from you their dad. Their well-being should have been front of mind the whole time. But this didn’t seem to enter his mind. He was completely engrossed in his bereaved husband act and didn’t go into parent mode at all. So telling of the type of father he is.
Well, I suppose that it's kinda a good thing that the girls won't really be missing a good and loving father.

They will, though. They'll always be missing that.

I thought I heard the cop say that when they walked into the room to check on the girls they woke up. I don’t know why they didn’t come out unless the cop told them not to.

I think they went back to sleep.

I do agree it’s odd the girls didn’t wake up with all those people coming in and out of the house, plus the gun shots, dogs barking and their dad acting hysterical. I do wonder if the cops drug tested them - he would have easily given them some Benadryl before bed (and used the excuse that they were sick)

But I will say, in my experience, a lot of kids, especially under 10, sleep extremely deeply. My own kids are older now but when they were younger they would regularly sleep through crazy wind storms, thunder, really loud car noises driving by our house, the doorbell and they could definitely sleep through our dog barking. I guess it’s actually a good thing the girls were able to sleep through all the commotion, I can’t imagine how terrifying it would be to wake up into that.

Truth.
But they will also have to carry hate, guilt, and "what if's" all their lives.

If the affair rumors are true, I wonder if she found out and that's the real reason he was out on the couch that night.

But was he really sleeping on the couch that night? Or in his girls room, for that matter, which he says in the 911 video, "when it happened"? DOUBT IT but that's my take on what a LYING crybaby murderer says. I think he was in bed with his wife, starring at the ceiling, waiting for the moment to get up, go get his gun out of the glove box, come back in, shoot his wife, then stage the house.

Two of the LE were talking to each other in the bodycam video and questioning whether or not the gunshots looked fresh. There was doubt expressed.

What did he do with the gun after he shot her?

I don’t think we officially know yet but I remember before he was arrested, the day after or maybe day 2, LE was in their yard and I saw pictures floating around of them digging with a backhoe under the shed in their backyard. So IMO, he tried to bury/hide it under the shed in his own backyard. But nothing has been confirmed about the gun that we officially know yet.

On one of the body cam videos, the officer running the drone asked another officer if they found the gun. The answer was no and then the drone operator pointed out the shed on his drone and mentioned something about the corner IIRC.
