I thought it was the pool house. Good catch.Ooooh, we're going back up on the guesthouse roof I think.

Do they also need a warrant if the family approved of the search?Correct. Warrants are very specific, and they amend them when they have new information. Its important because the defense can challenge down the road, and get evidence excluded it the warrant didn’t apply.
Definitely reading into it too much. Those are the only two local news stations in Tucson.
There was a local case a few years ago where a teen went missing for nearly a month. Turned out he'd crawled down the chimney of a house just across the street and got stuck. Search dogs had been in the area and property a few times and never alerted. It just happens so many times. This is so true. It’s exactly why I keep feeling like she’ll be found somewhere near her house.
You have no clue what they are searching for. Perhaps it’s not something small or hidden.I just watched them on the roof. Looked like a pretty half arse search IMO. If that’s what their searches consist of I’m pretty surprised but I’m not LE so I’m sure they know what they are doing
Many thanks! This link was posted here earlier today, but there was no discussion on the thread, IIRC. But Megan Kelly discusses it in her video at the link.
Seriously don’t get the logic behind it, not like she going to be seen. Plus there’s so much news coverage. I could see it a few months out but…..Someone posted upthread today that they've already seen the billboards, IIRC near Phoenix.
Missed it, or were told not to show it....The live feed totally missed what they were doing on the roof!! Dang.
Yes that’s true. I just expected if you go to the length of going onto the roof you would do a thorough search while you’re up there. My comment probably sounded judgy. I didn’t mean it that way was just more surprised at the level of searching they did.You have no clue what they are searching for. Perhaps it’s not something small or hidden.
A lot of focus on this area for sure.A lot of interest in the one area.

JMO: I think the ransom is an unrelated, red herring.Yes, but I'd think they'd want their ransom before saying where the body is.
