I'd be super surprised if she was on her own property. Far too risky for the Perps. I think somewhere in that vast desert nearby, a well known dumping grounds for the criminal element. Of course, I could be wrong - I have been more than a few times.

Sonoran Desert. 90 days to a complete skeleton. Lots of illegal's bodies still there. Reservation land inside Sonoran too. This is real - knew a guy who just parked his trailer in the desert outside of Tucson, lived in it for a while. A remote place in parts.

IANAL but although technically no warrant is required if the homeowner gives consent to search, in a case like this I would imagine LE would obtain a warrant to avoid evidentiary issues in the event of a prosecution (i.e., the homeowner revoking consent, claiming coercion, etc). JMO.

MOO, it refers to celebration of life, a funeral or memorial.

I don't know why, but I feel strongly that the word "celebrate" was strange and really out of place given the situation. I think it was a code word. Maybe the kidnappers provided the family with certain words in order to communicate something entirely different. Remember that the kidnappers initially stated, "You will have no way of contacting us." Does that make sense?

My map comment wasn’t intended to cause anything just random saying who carries a map when there are so many other options with more detail and information. Thered need to be a reason imo

No worries...when our comments turn out to be thought experiment generators for others it can be a very good thing. Helps keep us from swallowing spoon fed information as blind truth and keeps our own ability to reason active. Even old maps that have been digitized may need to be printed to be fully usefull.
