Possible, the suspect just looks way younger than mid-50s to me... looks 20s or 30s imo

I have some experience with night time/infrared video. Features can really look strange when video is created in that way. Not saying that is the case, but for example I have seen cases where a person has on a dark colored shirt, or an animal has dark hair, but it can look light in the video.

Maybe y'all are right and SIL hatched a plot. I don't understand why they'd be going in neighbors' houses otherwise? This is all very complex and baffling.

The suspect looks pretty young to me, 30s, so I assumed it was not related to SIL/AG but who knows?

So, im a kidnapper/robber but I didnt think of ring camera? I dont bring a piece of black electrical tape to put over the ring camera? I try to grab some dry desert flowers to cover up camera. And then furthermore, i come to the front door? This isnt screaming really smart guy here. This is next level stupid. That's what scary. Someone this stupid can do this. Unreal.

sounds far fetched i know but if a man can harbor extreme anger after not being with a woman for close to 10 years to the point of going out of his way to kill her and her husband, i don't know if anything is too far fetched anymore.

IMO he's not acting like he actually wants to get in the house. he covers the camera with his hand but doesn't actually smash/remove it? seems to be taking his time? something ain't computing

i think from some of the reports coming in it looks like they are getting ready to close in on someone. I think it is someone on some of our radar and not just one person. That camera footage will no doubt have someone who knows who it is.

May be the only scenario in which NG could still be found alive?

In the "with backpack" images I see what appears to be overhead moonlight/shadow, whereas in the "no backpack" image it seems to be gone. Two different times of night? Or different evenings?

They might be going inside to look at video from security cameras. I recall that the Chris Watts case - the cops were inside the neighbor's living room looking at his video.

He seems to list to one side. When I first noticed it I thought he was trying to avoid being on the camera, but then I noticed it again when he was walking to the door and the down to get the brush/flowers.

He looks like he doesn't see that well at night. He is looking down the whole way and he uses the flashlight to see the step up to her porch. The moon was nearly full that night.
