Another cruel hoax like, potentially, the ransom-note sender? IDK.This is very intriguing. Does anyone know about how this works? Would an APS caseworker be brought along to a call about a missing elderly person, automatically?
In my mind, MOO, I could imagine a scenario where a caseworker paid a call stemming from a report to APS about a possible case of elder abuse. Finding no one home, they leave their card just in case. Or if the person denies them a meeting, they leave their card, again, just in case.
I’m guessing, IMO, the card was left behind after the police released the home back to the family, in case someone wanted to report something. But if the police and FBI are on the case, it’s gone well beyond APS.
Curious about this, if anyone has any insight.
A social worker responding to a call made awhile ago the worker is required to leave the card??
