How do you refresh as new text comes in.
I’ve been refreshing the page itself every five or so minutes with good results. Enough to read then wait a few minutes and repeat.

I

I just click at top bar where it says 'what's new' and go to this particular thread. Moving fast.

One more time for the cheap seats in the back.
IF LE is at Annie's house, there should be an APPROVED SOURCE reporting on it.
Tricia, go to top of page 145

ITA.

Unless LE are playing the 'long game', so to speak ?
As in, they're playing chess with someone who plays tic-tac-toe ?
Imo.

I think that applies to every case. LE said less yesterday than the previous day. Sheriff was very broad in terms of not giving any information. “We are looking at every lead”. No elaboration. Nothing about clothing, blood, timeline, cameras etc.

Releasing the scene makes me think that there isn’t a lot of crime in that area.

John Miller CNN:

Looking at people near the family, people near those people, etc. Ransom note is being examined. Looking for other kinds of physical evidence. They are not stopping one of these things to prioritize another, they are doing everything at once.

Talks about how this is normal for an investigation, and that they try new methods they may have not thought of the first time, or are reacting to new information.

This is why I thought it was weird they turned over the house so soon.

It’s very common for law enforcement to return to a scene like this after gathering more information (lab results, tips, etc).

Assuming of course they plan to enter the house.
I agree with you. It all felt a little bit premature

It’s not like anybody else lives at the house or the family need to use it as a ‘base’ whilst they search for their mother.

I’d expect in these circumstances especially with high media coverage the house to stay in LE’s hands for longer

Hi! First time posting ever:) Is it possible that a suspect/POI started talking and gave the investigators information about where she could be found, and that is why they are back searching a specific area?

Brian Entin live on air - he confirms agents were back at Annie's house within the last 20 mins. Brian states that the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force & FBI were at the home of Annie Guthrie & Tommaso Cioni today.

ICAC?! Well that’s from left field.

Locals, is the soil there caliche and rocky or more sandy? Just curious how that might play into their grid search. TIA
caliche and rocky, although in washes they are more sandy. Don't know if there's any washes around there though

I really hope she hasn't been in the trunk of her car this whole time
I can't imagine that would be the case, but if so, LE would look really bad, given that they apparently found her phone in the car (and therefore searched it). jmo

First time commenting, not sure if it was discussed before. I was listening to a compilation of the dispatch calls from the day NG was reported missing. I noticed during the call, they kept saying, the time she was last seen, was 1215, not 945pm, I wonder if that was a misquote?

Also the dispatcher called for DPS assistance, which maybe why the card was left near the door.
