Anyone know if these homes have a crawl space or are they built on slab?
This looks like slab to me.

In San Antonio, homes built after 1955 are on slab. Real basements etc are very difficult due to solid bed rock. So, I assume this home is on a 3 foot slab.

I feel eery - it feels like she is going to be found tonight 😩😩

Going back to the house suggests a tip off for me or somebody realised they were going to get caught and have started talking to LE.

According to Entin they are performing a grid search near NG house. If they towed a car yesterday would they be able to get GPS tracking data this fast and would that data tell if a car was idle in a certain location for a period of time? Wondering if that is maybe why they are searching that particular area right now. JMO .

Trying to think of what things in a garage would be commonplace enough to not attract notice at the initial investigation, but could suddenly be evidence. Household chemicals? Rope to compare for fiber traces? Just speculating.
Tools? Tarps?

ICAC involved? Oh no... the investigation possibly uncovered other crimes?
Maybe someone was being blackmailed and needed money to keep something a secret.

I thought it was reported she’s staying at Annie’s home.
That could be the reason why LE is there. I can see them having more conversations with SG based on her access to the media.

Or they’re back to re-search NG’s house after placing some nanny cams before “releasing” it to the family?
That's what I thought too. That they might have released the property to see what happens next. Monitoring the house or people at the house in some way.

Brian Entin said he isn’t sure if they are looking for something in the garage, using it as a staging area, or as an entry into the home. I have to give it to him, if he doesn’t know, he says so.

he explained that they also investigate electronics (phones/computers)
My husband just said maybe they are checking for Bitcoin accounts. Smart!

Thinking of Nancy's family right now, the direction this is going must be overwhelming for them:(
I echo your comments

I feel bad enough watching & following this - god knows how the family members are feeling.

I'm not familiar with septic tanks. I saw earlier that NG's house is has one. Is this something kept under a house, next to the house, or would it normally be on the edge of a property away from the house?

Lots of supplies being retrieved by LE at NG's home, per the 12News KPNX livestream (I assigned letters to the different personnel to better make sense of the movement)

- Agent A retrieves what appears to be a box of black gloves from the truck (5:19pm MST timestamp)

- Agent A, now wearing black gloves, retrieves what appears to be large paper evidence bags and a heavy black duffel bag (5:25pm MST timestamp)

- Agent B, wearing black gloves, retrieves a black backpack from the truck (5:28pm MST timestamp)

- Agent A retrieves what could be white shoe coverings (5:32pm MST timestamp)

- Agent C walks away from the house carrying what looks to be the same box of black gloves retrieved earlier (5:34pm MST timestamp)

- Agent C walks back toward the house carrying the same (or similar) box of black gloves and a sheet of computer-sized paper (5:37pm MST timestamp)

I wonder what they could possibly be doing in the garage that they didn’t do before releasing the home. I’m so curious what new information they have.

Hate to say this but does she own any large upright or chest freezers ?
I am thinking of a very old case where they thought to look into one.
I am thinking LE know a ton of information but are rightly saying nothing, outside of possible leaks.
Omo.
One would sure like to believe that LE would search a large freezer in the garage of a missing person.

However, they do sometimes overlook the obvious.
In the Gannon Stauch case, after his evil, psychopathic monster of a stepmother reported him missing, LE came out and did a cursory search of the house, including the garage.

His little body was right there in the trunk of the car parked in the garage.
LE didn't bother to look inside the vehicles.

The evil monster then moved his body and his remains weren't discovered until months later when a passerby noticed a suitcase tossed over a bridge among some rocks and opened it.

JMO.

Possibly. Now I wonder if it is just their digital analysis expertise they are there for, hadn't thought of that. Hopefully!

As someone watching from an East Coast city with possibly more people on my block than in that entire community, it looks rural to me. :) I'm fascinated by the landscape. Stunning. (But I realize it's a suburb - don't come at me.)

But, I am also fascinated by tonight's developments. What in the world happened with this case?

It's really beautiful. We drove up Mt. Lemon from the foothills and it was stunning! Love that area.

Away from the house but not far at all, meaning not under it or right next to it.
