Could the video of son in law as a suspect by AB be a decoy so the real perp doesn't harm NG if she is still alive .

If perp knows heat is on he may kill her and escape if he hasn't already killed her .

Any empty properties in the area People in hospital or vacation or recently passed away ? The perp would need a place that was easy to access and without much travelling to . If ransom is genuine
Imo i don’t think they would say ng’s s-i-l as a decoy. It could put a very negative impact on him, especially if he is still a school teacher. I would just go with what LE presents. In the Seppe dentist/wife ohio case, they said hey didnt’t have a suspect, when in reality they were just collecting info and evidence for the arrest. I haven’t heard LE name an official suspect yet. Have they?

Lots of supplies being retrieved by LE at NG's home, per the 12News KPNX livestream (I assigned letters to the different personnel to better make sense of the movement)

- Agent A retrieves what appears to be a box of black gloves from the truck (5:19pm MST timestamp)

- Agent A, now wearing black gloves, retrieves what appears to be large paper evidence bags and a heavy black duffel bag (5:25pm MST timestamp)

- Agent B, wearing black gloves, retrieves a black backpack from the truck (5:28pm MST timestamp)

- Agent A retrieves what could be white shoe coverings (5:32pm MST timestamp)

- Agent C walks away from the house carrying what looks to be the same box of black gloves retrieved earlier (5:34pm MST timestamp)

- Agent C walks back toward the house carrying the same (or similar) box of black gloves and a sheet of computer-sized paper (5:37pm MST timestamp)
Oh no :(

I'm not familiar with septic tanks. I saw earlier that NG's house is has one. Is this something kept under a house, next to the house, or would it normally be on the edge of a property away from the house?
We have one (Atlanta area), and it's behind our house. Our old house had it in the front yard.

Has it been said where SG is staying? If I was staying at a siblings house I would know if there is weird energy.
reportedly at least up to today yes staying with Annie.

Trying to think of what things in a garage would be commonplace enough to not attract notice at the initial investigation, but could suddenly be evidence. Household chemicals? Rope to compare for fiber traces? Just speculating.
Possible fingerprints and DNA from people who did work at the home and maybe used her tools/supplies in the garage?

[mod snip]...
Yeah. I’ve followed a bunch of cases where the secret service is involved, for instance, and people jump to all sorts of conclusions.

But they’re there for their technical expertise, and that’s certainly going to be the case with this particular agency here.

The hatch of mine is about 10 yards away from the house, in the backyard. At my previous house, the hatch was just off the edge of the back deck.

Yes I did learn that lesson in the tepe case that a lot can be going on behind the scenes but the pattern I see is that the brother in law or in this case the son in law was judged very early on as a possible suspect . When in fact Rob was being a master of smoke and mirrors . And emerged as a brilliant media spokesperson in putting the spotlight on himself and in doing so this allowed LE to work in the background without much focus on where they were in the investigation by Joe public

LE has now blocked the media's view of the driveway with another car parked perpendicular to the truck (screen grabs from the 12News KPNX livestream) and the crime scene tape has just been removed.

ICAC?! Well that’s from left field.
Apparently they also do phone recovery and forensic data extraction stuff too?

Sandy and rocky. It varies throughout the area but it's generally sandy, with lots of rocks, and bedrock underneath some of the mountainous areas.

Want a (sandy) rabbit hole? :) here you go!
I think it depends what area too. Im on the SW side of Tucson, We have a lot of caliche and rocks. We looked into getting a pool for the backyard. If we did the underground pool, we were told the ground would have to be blasted to break apart the caliche. I know the area Ms. Guthrie lives. Its pretty rocky. Lots of hills.

Sorry for jumping to conclusions...getting wrapped across the knuckles repeatedly today lol

Sounds like the search was very targeted at Nancy's place.
