Thank you for thissssss!

We too have heard the reports about a ransom letter in the media. As a family, we are doing everything that we can. We are ready to talk. However, we live in a world where voices and images are easily manipulated. We need to know without a doubt that she is alive and that you have her. We want to hear from you, and we are ready to listen. Please reach out to us.

This part stuck out to me.. have they received a photo? voice message? or maybe it was attached to the ransom letter?

Did anyone interpret the part about wanting indisputable proof of life such that they have received it but it’s not ‘good enough’ for them?

Could just be an awareness that that's the world we live in now. I mean I've seen people use AI to troll people looking for lost pets.

The police have presented zero evidence to show victim is still alive.

‘Savannah Guthrie’s brother Colonel Charles “Camron” Guthrie, call sign "Arlo"), is a retired U.S. Air Force/Air National Guard F-16 pilot. He served for 26 years, including three tours in Iraq, and was part of the unit that provided air defense over NYC on 9/11. He retired from the Vermont Air National Guard in 2018.’

I'd be more interested to hear his thoughts about the kidnapping scenario.

With the Colonel's background I doubt he'll have much to say to the press if anything at all.

So it sounds like the Guthries only heard about ransom demands from the media who received the demands. Seems unusual. JMO.

Still thinking different person altogether. Maybe I’m thinking that if it were really true they kidnapped her, they would put NG on the video instead. Sadly, i’m staying with my belief that she is no longer alive on Earth and that this was done as a retaliation of some sort by family/ex family, hired help…. Moo
With you on the first part, but I do not believe this was some sort of hit.

You do that, you don’t take the body, because you’ve got the distance between offender and victim already.

If you have a grudge, you take it out on the person directly (Savannah or something).

I’m still leaning random/possibly sexually motivated.

The random thing does muddy the waters though.

This is exactly how I interpreted it. They've received a photo but don't know if it's a deepfake/AI image or real. MOO

My random thoughts tonight. What if this began as an abduction for money/atm...and NG told the kidnappers who her daughter is and that she can get them more money if they promise not to kill her? Far fetched but thinking about any possible angle. This scenario would make sense in a delayed ransom note situation. Just my hypothetical situation thoughts and opinion

I’m unable to view the family’s plea since I am not on Instagram. Hopefully I’ll be able to catch it when the 10:00 News is on.

In the interim, reading that the brother did not speak and that the sister apparently seemed unpolished, IMO that means nothing.

This is a dreadful situation that the family is enduring. Yes, Savannah is accustomed to discussing news and to speak on television. But she has not had to discuss her mother being missing before.

IMO, however Nancy’s children want to speak is how they want to speak. Or to stay silent.

The brother is a highly trained fighter jet pilot. When Savannah took a flight with him, he was a very polished speaker because he was in his element. If he chooses not to speak now, that is fine with me.

Maybe he can’t bring himself to utter the words. Maybe he’s wary that he may in anger say something that would further endanger their mother.

Unless we hear from LE that a family member is a suspect, I believe that they are in an unimaginable crisis and I won’t judge anything they say or do.

Where are you, Nancy Guthrie??

IMO, I would really love to hear from the FBI on this now. They need to clear up a bunch of rumors and give some form of control and actual facts.

I am surprised no info on her regular routine Sunday morning with attending church 11am or so service. Also, what was schedule for walking the dog. Elderly who live alone and are of sound mind usually have daily routines. Where was the dog when family members did welfare check after 11am Sunday?
LE has established she went missing around 2am. Perhaps her regular Sunday routine is not of importance except her church friends noticed she was absent. But the 2am time seems rather firm.

If anyone missed Court TV, there is a second airing at 10-11pm Central. Cody reports from AG house.

The police have presented zero evidence to show victim is still alive.

IMO the blood on the stoop indicates she was removed from the home alive.

For what possible purpose could that be, except a ransom situation.

Attack in her home, leave the body.
Attack in her home, take the body in order to destroy evidence.
Take from her home alive.... toward what end?

For me, as statistically impossible as it sounds, it gels with a ransom motive.

Crazy. But here we are.

Like nothing we've ever experienced before. More like Netflix: 84 year old mom kidnapped & held for ransom, celebrity daughter, today's bitcoin edge thrown in....

I hope I didn't convey that family members shouldn't be grieving. I pointed out specifically that their mom needs life sustaining meds that were left at the home days ago that were vital for her survival after 24 hrs. That would be my first shout out at the video.
If the person responsible for this abduction was well known and trusted by Nancy (a housekeeper, handyman, plumber, pool guy, etc.), and was aware of her health issues, is it possible they grabbed a number of pills from containers at the house to tide her over until they made a final life or death decision concerning her fate? I wonder if LE actually counted her meds to see if there was a discrepancy of any kind. In order to bargain with someone demanding a ransom you have to have a a live victim, no?

I'm keeping an open mind about a kidnap-for-ransom scenario as it is a crime that's exceedingly rare but if it does turn out to be true, I think there would be one mastermind behind this plot with a couple of accomplices to assist them.

The brother did speak. Words to the effect of we love you Mom. Stay strong.

May be referencing how proof of life will be accepted? They won't accept an image or voice.
