I wish to be a fly on the wall inside AG’s home.
it has to be uncomfortable given the rumors swirling. And the extreme sadness and stress.

Everyone is assuming the camera locations were known. One was at the door so obvious and easy to spot. The other disconnected after 20 minutes or so. Doesn't strike me as a planned removal of both cameras before doing anything else, more like "yeah, the one at the door, obviously" and after a longer while "there's one here too [BAM!]"
This is an excellent, excellent point.

So if the cameras were in fact removed (the sheriff never said they weren't if you listen closely), that goes to someone coming across them as opposed to knowing in advance where they were.

Again though, it comes back to the status of those cameras.

Good point! I was under the impression there were more than 2 cams, idk why but in that case i must be mistaken

Another thought: during that time they might've gained the info about the other camera by "asking" NG

No suspects or POIs
But no one has been cleared either...so in that sense, there are remaining potential suspects?

Yes, everyone is a potential suspect at this time.

Just wondering... Has the person whose name has been bandied about by certain news sources actually been specifically excluded as a suspect, or have police statements on this subject merely been denials that any information regarding suspects has been released?

We know about 2 from the police, with an exact time of each one being disconnected. We don't know if there were other cameras and even the meaning of "disconnected".

Sounds like the family called LE way sooner than originally indicated? Arrived to check on her at 11:58ish, called in the LE around 12:03? Did I mishear that?
The ORIGINAL reports were that the family arrived at NG's home about 11:10. Now they are saying 11:58?

Look how long they finally took down the kohlburger that murdered the 4 college students in Idaho. That took over a month before they arrested him. Le,fbi, are collecting every grain of sand before they get him or her. I'm sure they have a suspect, just gathering everything they can to nail him
Agreed.
LE have someone(s) in mind.

And fwiw, the ransom notes might be a ploy to distract and nothing else.
Someone(s) wanted Nancy gone and that was all, I'm thinking ?
Omo.

I still drive by the reservoir where her memorial was regularly, as well as the Starbucks and Albany Ave trash cans, etc. Kind of stinks to be reminded of her so often and know she still hasn't been found.

In her case, the kid's trust funds were a huge motivator, but what would be in this case? I really don't see how there can be a financial motivation...
Really? I can see a potential financial motive for her disappearance in several ways:

Sometimes a financial motive is r/t an insurance payout.
Sometimes a financial motive is r/t non-liquid (property) assets.
Sometimes a financial motive is r/t liquid assets.
Sometimes a financial motive is r/t outstanding debts.
Sometimes a financial motive is r/t fraud.

We don't know any of the above related to NG's finances, aside from the fact that her current estimated home value is around 1 million dollars according to online realtor sites.

LE will be doing their due diligence, so if/as they're able to rule out financial motives, I'm sure they've been striking them off the list.

We don't have access to that info, though, so I haven't taken them off.

JMO.

In the news conference today they went to lengths to say that no one has been excluded as a suspect.

This is so intricately planned;

1 - why do this when she’s expected at church? Just wait a night
2 - why not wait until Savannah is in Italy? Again, just wait a night

I have followed cases here before that in the beginning seem like they could’ve been planned by a mastermind, someone intelligent. Seems like it’s a complicated crime until the perpetrator is caught and then it ends up being somebody who’s not even particularly very smart.
if criminals were smart our judicial system wouldn't be overloaded ... but I'm biased. 🙂

I just checked, and it took me about 5 seconds to find the phone number for AC that he likely contacted.
The husband's email address is also readily available online.

Thought so, though I have not watched the conference.

Yeah but with no proof of life, what’s the difference?

that's why I'm wondering if this is a faked kidnapping and the inheritance is the real goal...with the possibility of ransom cash.

serious kidnappers would put her on the phone and give a serious proof of life, because they want that bitcoin.

waiting for a new ransom request.

While I think the likelihood that this is a politically motivated crime is not high it does seem a bit unusual to me that the president called to offer support. This is inconsistent with how he's reacted when other of his critics have victims of crime (e.g. Rob Reiner).

it makes me wonder if there is some information that hasn't been released to us, but was conveyed to the White House that indicated that the president might want to somehow blunt or mitigate the impact of those details by calling to offer support and a gesture of solidarity.
