Are we sure she was actually "dropped off" at her house after being with her daughter and son in law for dinner etc? Maybe she never returned to the house at all?

Has that been confirmed?

Good point. I think you can collect after a certain period of time when the person has been presumed dead, without a body. I may be totally wrong (and I definitely don't want to Google it lol) but I think family members can request a death cert after a certain period of time of someone missing.
Yes, and the blood at front doorsteps is victim's

An 84 year old mother with a pace maker, who can only walk 50 feet and needs a daily medication for survival; is taking an Uber to her daughter’s home that resides only 4 miles away? I find this very odd. Was this the normal “driving arrangement” with get togethers with the daughter and son in-law? If this isn’t suspicious it’s definitely weird and awfully thoughtless. What were the daughter and son in-law doing Saturday around 5:30pm that they couldn’t take a very quick trip to pick up mom?
BBM.
Making dinner

Perhaps they were busy making dinner.
Absolutely zero argument from me, @rosesfromangels. But, we had a couple of bad experiences with "gig drivers." Very interesting article just hit the wires.....I DON'T BELIEVE IN COINCIDENCES.

Gosh. After watching parts of the press conference again and then seeing the son issue his own pleas to a potential abductor, I just can't shake the idea that a kidnapping and legitimate ransom demand is what may have just happened here. In my view, if the family didn't have strong suspicion (and as likely, compelling evidence) that this is the case then there is little chance they would be putting what seems to be a large part of their effort, resources, and - less important but still important - their reputation, towards it.

JMO.

St Philips Tucson mass on Sunday is 10AM, so it must have been after mass that church goer contacted family that victim was a no show. Why someone would show up at 2AM to take an 84 year old women out of house to the hostility of causing her to bleed front door steps. This is not some kidnapping situation but rather someone who did not like this Senior in my opinion. I think her removal from house was to conceal evidence of crime

Could be religion related. I just find it a little weird that victim lives 4 miles from daughter and yet victim had to take Uber to meet daughter for dinner and game night. Then son in law drops off victim at home through garage which shut around 9:48pm. Victim is 84 years old with heart condition, requires a walker for mobility, is in pain per daughter, and frail. I find it strange that a church member would break in to house around 1:30am. If this were church related, why not do this after church when the victim would return home?

Do you have a link for “St Philip’s” mass”?

I understand what you are saying, but I have elderly parents who (understandably) want so much to be independent that they might accept a ride one way, but not both ways.

It is not an inconvenience at all in my mind, but they are emphatic about “not inconveniencing” me. Could be a similar situation with NG?

My opinion and thoughts...
I'm beginning to wonder if she actually made it home Saturday night. Technically the pacemaker disconnected from her phone. But that doesn't mean she was in the house when it disconnected.

Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos did not know the Guthrie family was going to post an emotional plea for their mother to be returned on social media last night, he said.

In the video, Savannah Guthrie and her siblings tearfully asked for proof that their mother was alive.

Nanos told CNN his wife showed him the video for the first time after it was posted last night.

The Guthrie family is “devastated,” the sheriff said, adding he has “opened the door for them to contact me anytime.” Nanos said he has not met Savannah Guthrie in person, but they have texted each other.

“Anybody who watches that video, I don’t know how they can sit there and not say, ‘My goodness, we need to get this lady back,’” Nanos said

This time Nanos is on NewsNation with Elizabeth Vargas. They're discussing Camron Guthrie's video.

There was no instructions really on how to pay by 5pm. The Monday is for bitcoins but maybe I am wrong
The ransom e-mail included a verified account number so they could do the transfer.

So is there no way to trace where the money goes?

I wonder why there is little info about dinner and the games. Like was it a church event or at a restaurant or other venue or at Tucson daughter house. My guess is victim took Uber to event and maybe Tuscon daughter met up with victim later on? They only lived 4 miles away. I think Uber driver will have some good info as to what went on Sat night, as perhaps victim chatted about her night plans
Some Uber/Lyft drivers have cameras. I assume to protect themselves from harm and false allegations.
