There are so many posts so this may have been addressed already.

What would cause Nancy's pacemaker app to disconnect from the phone?

'Nancy Guthrie is ‘Safe but Scared,’ Ransom Note Claims'

Feb 6, 2026
New shocking details have been revealed about the purported Nancy Guthrie ransom note by TMZ boss Harvey Levin, which was sent to the outlet two days after Savannah Guthrie’s mom was reported missing.Levin told Fox News’ Sean Hannity that the note highlighted insider details about her suspected abduction — including information about her Apple Watch and a damaged floodlight at her million-dollar home.Days earlier, TMZ reported that the note provided a deadline for the ransom payment in Bitcoin for her safe return, and implied something sinister would befall Nancy if the towering sum wasn’t paid.

I am just getting here due to the lack of power, etc. in the eastern part of the country. What are the thoughts on the sister and brother-in-law? How close is Mexico from Tuscon?

In this day and age those motives may be a little to much to elaborate fully on here. If its indeed family related, I think the motive is less about monetary value, and maybe more about the value of what attention brings? Just thinking out of the box here:)
It just seems that she is of little benefit to anyone if missing, so the more time that goes by, if she isn't found, does it seem more likely that it was a burglary gone wrong?

I id'd the plants and know exactly what they are. I grow them too. (Lantana) They aren't something Nancy would pick nor would florists put in an arrangement. They stink like cat pee and everyone who grows them knows they smell like cat pee. No one picks them to bring inside!
Thank you! Cat pee 😂 no, I don't think anyone would take them inside.

Someone above stated that the perps may have carried something into the home and caught a few of them with an item. Now that makes me wonder, what could have been used and if the white van (no signs) seen parked in the area days before was involved?

If she's lacking her daily meds for a heart condition she might already be dead. Hate to say it but it's quite possible.
depends. I've had alcoholics as patients who should be on all sorts of medications for cardiac-and yet are not taking them as they should be. And they yet still make it in to where I work

The grandchildren are in fact children. And completely innocent. Do not bring them into this
That was exactly the point being made. No one is bringing them into anything. And you are on the wrong website to be so easily sensitive.

The pacemaker is implanted in the upper chest and Bluetooth connects it to the app', so Ms. G's physical body got too far away from the app' on her iphone (cell phones use either android, or apple/'i').

Just darting in to respond to one issue and won’t catch up until evening, forgive me if already mentioned.

It’s true that Savannah is wealthy and famous, but not among the billionaire set.

I remember looking at houses on Long Island in the 1970s which were then going for about $49,000 and would now be about $800,000. So imo $85,000 was not 40 years ago what it is now.

But the truly truly ridiculous rich likely have security cordons everywhere.

They didn’t kidnap Savannah, they kidnapped her mom. My thinking is if the ridiculously rich had elderly parents who were known to the public, as Nancy was, their vulnerable parents may have ended up as victims as well.

Anyone else considered that this could be the remains of a bouquet of flowers? Seeing as how NG's birthday was only days before? Could be a way a perpetrator both blocked the camera until they had removed it and also how they gained entry without forcing the door?
I identified them. Since those smell like cat pee, I doubt they are part of an arrangement. They are growing next to her porch.

I'm wondering if someone picked them and posed as an arrangement to get her to come to the door?

Thank you for this. My husband has a pacemaker, but I didn't know there was an app.

i know distance from phone can be one reason but what happens if the person is deceased?

Yes, the plant at the door also looks like lantana. Doubt it was part of an arrangement.

It's weird that they're so close to the door and not next the the sidewalk. It would seem "juvenile" "immature" to cut a few lantana stems and pass them off as a "gift". Yet, there are people who do this with lantana. (There are little kids who pick mine) I wouldn't expect Nancy to do this. I wouldn't expect another homeowner to do this.

It's almost as if someone came to the door with these in their hand to lure someone out. MOO MOO

Thanks for your observation....

It's interesting that some pieces of the lantana are laying directly on the blood drops. It looks like some pieces may have fell after the blood drops fell. Just an observation.

I'm beginning to think that the alleged call to AG from someone at NG's church was a ruse. Why else would LE not include the call in the official timeline?

Agree! I personally know of an 'older' person who died a couple weeks ago ---- he'd been a Ticking Time Bomb for years and it's a head-scratcher as to how and why he lived so long....

Even if Ms. G attended church remotely, I bet she would have had the habit of stating who she was to all the other remote-attendees, and she probably had pals and they'd Private Message one another during the time they were online for the church service.
I think that very plausible.
When I went to the church website and tapped 10:45 AM, it took me to a Vimeo page that says
“Join the audience to participate in chat, polls, and quizzes”.
So, I could see where NG would routinely sign in and greet her online fellow churchgoers there just as one would when going to church in-person.
(Screenshot of the church’s Vimeo page.)

Of course, I don’t know if she goes to the 10:45 service, I just clicked it to see, as an example.

My parents are almost 90 and I guarantee you they'd be having issues with a lot of these comments. Heck they both still drive, although my dad really really should not drive at night....but he does. ugh

Well, there are two of them to look out for each other.

My 95 year old perfectly fine father who lived by himself fell in the kitchen one evening hurt his hip couldn’t get up, his phone in another room and spent the night and most of the next day on the cold tile floor until the neighbor stopped by he almost died from it.

Then we didn’t care what he said hired help during most of the day and one, albeit studying the whole time, in the night. But he really didn't object much turns out he enjoyed some company, the day one cooked too, and the attention while still getting a few hours to himself.

Daddy drove too. A sports car no less.

all imo
