In light of the Sheriff's statement about believing she will be found alive and talk of the FBI starting to put up billboards asking for information do you guys believe there may have been very recent contact with the alleged abductor/writer of the ransom note?

I'm really shocked whether or not this is the same author of the first letter that they're sticking with email as mode of delivery. This criminal (related to the abduction or not) definitely has high confidence in their technical abilities to not instantly be identified by LE. Especially after FBI made an example of the guy who was harassing AG via text.

Untraceable email methods do exist, so maybe the perp feels secure in sending follow up instructions.

Did SG pay the first ransom. Generally, if they didn't follow through with the first letter, a second letter would be sent right away if this was truly a ransom case. (Like if it said, "pay by 9 pm on Tuesday") Well that day came and went and now we're hearing several days later. It looks like they had plenty of time to "think" of something to write.

We don't know. The sheriff said it was up to the family (the ransom) and the video SG did with her brother and sister pleaded for contact and proof of life. It is customary to get proof of life if any party is actually considering the ransom (as in past cases with rich heirs etc.) especially days after and given the age and health of NG.

Based on what I've read, at this point in time it seems to me - IMO - that a little group took Ms. G and thought by leaving those blood splashes, and the watch, the kidnappers thought SG would pay the ransom in Bitcoin. But SG chose not to pay the demanded-ransom. IMO No Way would the little kidnapper group engage in any ' communication' with SG. SG didn't pay and so little kidnapper group didn't get their payout. Little kidnapper group moves on to their next crime.

It's been 5 days since the first one... they haven't been found yet, so it doesn't surprise me at all, I don't think it is traceable.

Hopefully there is something in it that clearly ties it to the 1st one, or I guess doesn't tie it to the 1st one.

As I said above in response to another comment, if a lot of time has passed they will have a hard time pinning down a date of death from an autopsy.

Am becoming more and more convinced this is a scam like the first guy that was caught but possibly something from outside the country where its harder to trace?

The reporter lady says KOLD received the letter at 11:00 AM MST. That there is a 4 hour delay between receiving and reporting. I know this is pretty standard but it makes me think this one may have some weight on it and LE wanted to get a head start on investigating it.

I will be absolutely shocked if any ransom note is legit. It’s just other scammers/losers and it’s taking time and attention away.

My sense is that whatever was planned did not go as planned. I think Nancy was alive when she was taken out of the house. I think there was a plan to get a ransom and return her but now it's not possible to return her and not get caught. I think there was a participant or participants in the inner circle and the heavy lifting was done by unsavory acquaintances, I suspect these acquaintances did not intend to do anything besides collect a lot of money and abscond when possible. I think the members of the inner circle are sweating as they realize they are part of a plot that has gone very south. I can only imagine the tension.

I think letters are real from the actual kidnappers, but I don’t think they will return Nancy, so sorry.
They want the money, that’s all. They are trying for credibility with the letter, mentioning placement of iwatch, broken light reference. I just don’t see why they would return her, too much risk.

When TMZ first reported the ransom letter and the one reporter was holding it, the other one flipped up the paper, like to prevent something from being seen. Then another person is seen putting a piece of paper in front of the letter. Was there a photo of N on the letter? Or what was it ?

The posts about what people came to Nancy's house on a regular basis appears, IMO, to be baseless chatter aka speculation. I have seen no reliable source say if any caretakers or gardners, etc came regularly. Maybe someone here has reliable info on that.
