If this second note contained something only the kidnapper could know, I'd rule out suspecting the family. There is no way AG/her husband could be covertly sending ransom notes with the media, LE, family etc. all surrounding them. Even by email, that's way too risky and easily discovered.

Completely agree, that there are more than just 2 individuals involved…..but will also say, if AG and husband are involved this is much bigger than just the 2 of them.

I wonder if someone very high IQ with exceptional tech skills would go the kidnapping route? This is a labor intensive crime. Abducting someone, keeping them captive, returning them. All while remaining invisible so the victim could not identify them. Perhaps killing them. Very risky way to make some money if they have the tech skills to steal money in other ways.

But yes someone smart, educated, good skills. But not top of the line. And perhaps young. If older, didn't think it all through.

For millions of dollars? I think so. Plus, for some personalities, it would be an entertaining challenge.

A pacemaker continues to work as long as it detects a LIVING heartbeat. (Battery life is 8-10 years.). I believe they operate with RFIDs. IMO, that and the Apple Watch data may help to locate Nancy. Seems it would be possible to re-synch the watch if it comes in close range or the pacemaker is identified near a specific tower.

Most seniors are on like meds. Blood thinner (aspirin, etc.), beta blocker (metaprolol) as primary with a few extras. Without them It doesn't mean the person will immediately drop over, but as time passes, meds become more important. She's been off meds for a week. If she's still alive, she has undoubtedly told her captors. Whoever took her probably didn't know about her meds or did not care.

And at the press conference yesterday, the Sheriff stated that they have been checking with pharmacies to see if any of NG's prescription medicines have been refilled. So it seems to me that LE know that her prescription medicines were left behind.

Still believe that AG and SIL are the primary cause of all this, but if the only motive that fits is life insurance/inheritance perhaps second communication is because they are growing tired of waiting for NG to be found?

Very newsworthy that they received it, and there’s no way they wouldn’t announce it.

It's quite telling that Detectives have returned to the house about an hour after announcing that the 2nd letter has arrived from the "Kidnapper".
