Info from Google search: An Apple Watch cannot detect a pacemaker in a dead person, as the watch is designed to monitor human pulse and blood flow, not electronic device signals. If a person passes away, the Apple Watch will stop recording heart rate data because it can no longer detect blood flow or pulse, and it may lock itself, thinking it is no longer on a wrist.
A pacemaker can connect to a cell tower via radio frequency. Also, it can connect to an app via Bluetooth when in close range. It reports data via a handheld medical device @/or cell phone. Sitting in a medical facility, it can connect to a laptop to the extent that a technician can make your throat tickle. But IMO, the best way to prove a general vicinity and also that she is alive, is to intensely scan cell tower data. I heard there are 41 towers in the wide area.

Yes, the plant at the door also looks like lantana. Doubt it was part of an arrangement.

It's weird that they're so close to the door and not next the the sidewalk. It would seem "juvenile" "immature" to cut a few lantana stems and pass them off as a "gift". Yet, there are people who do this with lantana. (There are little kids who pick mine) I wouldn't expect Nancy to do this. I wouldn't expect another homeowner to do this.

It's almost as if someone came to the door with these in their hand to lure someone out. MOO MOO

Thanks for your observation....

It's such as weird thing to release. Sounds like the media is grasping at straws. Suspcious vehicle at a Circle K. Was it left over night or something? How do they even know if it's connected to the case?

Gas stations frequently have suspicious vehicles because well, there is lots of other crime or whatever....
Could be a specific vehicle was seen there...one familiar to LE maybe.

So the drones have to register so police know what network it is and if they don't take it down the police will shoot it down?
IIRC, drones are regulated and LE can forbid people from flying them over investigation scenes.

Maybe a bobcat or another wildlife animal brought the flower debris and was sniffing he blood scent

I don’t think you’ll have much luck discussing it considering the rapid pace of the thread. But basically SG used a quote from the Silence of the Lamb movie in her address to the (potential) kidnapper. Whether it was a coincidence or not, or maybe her statement was AI generated, or maybe the perps told them to put that sentence in, I have no idea.
Thank you, yes I knew that SG used the line in her address to the kidnappers. But I was wondering specifically what it referenced in the movie and what it might mean that she used the line,

I'm not in US and can't find print media reference to suspicious vehicles yet.

Have they confirmed *when* the vehicles were sighted?

Edited for spelling
Just a vehicle at gas station. But gas stations always have vehicle. I don't think it's anything. It could be, but I kinda doubt it.

Law enforcement officials in Arizona are searching for a vehicle or vehicles that may be connected to the Nancy Guthrie investigation, NBC News has learned.

A Circle K spokesperson told NBC News that law enforcement visited one of their stores on Oracle Road in Tucson after “receiving a tip regarding a vehicle of interest, and our team has provided them access to the store’s surveillance video.”

Officials haven’t said if the vehicle or vehicles are definitively connected to any part of the crime, or if that lead has since evaporated.

Question about NG’s cameras -

It has been said that the doorbell camera was a Nest camera. Were the interior cameras also Nest cameras?

The timeline said -
“2:12 a.m. — The camera's software detects movement, but there is no video available since Guthrie did not have an active subscription with the company, meaning the footage was not saved.” (pbs.org)

Does anyone know if the camera company (i.e. Nest) can retrieve the video from this timeframe even if NG didn’t have a subscription? I can see that IF this is possible that the company may not want the general public to know this. I can also see where LE may also not want the public to know this - especially right now with this case.

I don’t think family would pay if kidnapper says she died, location of body.
i disagree... they'll want her body for a proper burial/cremation.

How incorrect you are about Eliquis. There are now Anticoagulation Centers just for Eliquis. Lab test every 6 months and weight. This is true of everyone on Eliquis. I am on it. AND, if you have a reason to go to UC or ER, you must tell doctors you are on Eliquis. Finally, you cannot just stop taking it as with aspirin - dangerous.
My husband is having heart ablation in 10 days so he can get off this drug. It is causing him much internal bleeding thus other bad side effects.

so the drone footage...I guess I am surprised by the number of cops/officers/agents/whatever just sitting or standing around. Even the ones that seem to be looking around appear to me to be just casually looking. I don't follow these things often...does this seem normal to y'all?
