This is so true. It’s exactly why I keep feeling like she’ll be found somewhere near her house.

Not to be insensitive or gross, but there would be smell and buzzards at this point.

Agree. When I previously first saw the photo the larger blood “splatter” caught my attention as it looked different than the blood drops. I didn’t enlarge it to look at it more closely at that time, however I just did this and it does appear to be more of an aerosol-mist type (high-velocity) splatter.

I’d love to hear what others think - especially those with experience in types of blood splatter.
I’m not an expert. But from the picture it seems like the person bleeding was trying to go in the house, had grabbed a handful of plants on their way to the door, stopped at the door to unlock/open it - that’s why the splatter is concentrated in one spot (as the person stopped and possibly had to remove other hand holding back the bleed or something) and also why the green plants were dropped near the door.

Isn't it pretty standard to leave the scene as is and make the family clean up after? Am I crazy?
I think family would be responsible for deep stains that cannot be removed from a superficial clean. But LE certainly do not leave blood splatters there for family to clean up.

I wonder if they have asked everyone in her circle as well as people that have worked on her home/car etc. . . for fingerprint/dna samples. Maybe they found fingerprints/dna in her bedroom or somewhere in and around the home that they would not normally be. JMOO.

A professional service will clean up after this case is resolved.

I certainly hope so! But the in and out of LE over the past days make it seem a bit amateuristic tbh.
They didn't keep the house cordoned off as i would expect they would in a case like this.
Also it seems they were done pretty quick with processing the house.
Maybe i missed something but i'd think it would take several hours to swab, dust, etc, everything for potential trace like dna or fingerprints.
It could be i just have an unrealistic expectation of what LE would and should do 😅
And not only that but they should be worried about media types breaking into the house trying to get a better look. It’s an active investigation. The police could have to keep coming out every time some reporter is trespassing on the property. It’s in their interest to keep it cordoned off. I can already see a defense attorney saying that the property wasn’t secured the second time they went back and everyone was walking all over the place possibly disturbing evidence. They should have kept the tape up. It wouldn’t cost them anything to at least do that while the person is still missing.

The Sonoran Desert is roughly 100,000 square miles of dry nothingness. Approximately 5,000 migrant bodies are thought to still be there. Some estimate one migrant death per day for the last 22 yrs. One body would be noticed? 90 days and the body would be a skeleton.

I've just joined this thread. What strikes me is the total lack of msm links. Thank you to the few people who have added links. It is difficult to catch up on a case without links and without stating that what you say is your own opinion.
I look forward to reading further.
I am glad you said this. I for one do not like all the links to Megyn Kelly's show. Her coverage has been rather seedy for someone who used to be one of SG's colleagues and probably moves in the same circles. She has been typically sensationalist and gossipy and I haven't heard her once say anything remotely sympathetic towards SG or her family. I understand there may have been some sort of bad blood after MK bombed at NBC.

I think you can tell from SG's body language she found MK a bit much o_O Savannah Guthrie joins Megyn Kelly TODAY to discuss the Thai cave rescue
