If they were on the roof to access the camera for removal. Why were they looking around the roof as well and looking under pipes with flashlights?
If it was a camera, it’s surely something that the enforcement placed there, right? They could not have missed seeing those before.?!

Defense attorneys will have a field day with this, ugh
ugh. exactly my thoughts. anything found after the first few hours, once the home was secured, is going to be hard to use

The higher the reward 💰💰💰, the more false tips come pouring in from psychics, people hoping to get lucky with wild guesses, wackadoodles, etc.

They clog up the Tip Line and force LE to divert resources that could be productively used elsewhere.

The FBI is already dealing with a massive sideshow, largely in part due to the Sheriff's careless use of the words "kidnapping," "abduction," and "taken from her bed," (but don't take him literally, people because "he didn't mean it literally," or something).

They don't need to be chasing down any more rabbit holes than they currently are doing.

All of the above = JMO.
OMG remember when the released the tips on Caylee Anthony when she was "missing." Psychics had the wildest theories. One said she was in a car's gas tank. It must be frustrating to sort through all the "tips" that are coming in

I might be overly optimistic on the capabilities of LE, but I find it so so hard to believe today’s activity was for a camera they somehow previously missed (although stranger things have happened). I also find it unlikely that LE put the camera there to come back a few days later when the house has been under around the clock surveillance b media…not even sure the point I’m trying to make, this whole things is bizarre.

Incredible that it wasn't removed in the first place, if it is in fact a camera!
I’m hoping it’s connected to the same system and somehow discovered by company looking at other camera software. I don’t think LE put that there at all.

that "structure" looks like it is on the neighbor's property and is an animal pen, but just my opinion, best guess.
It is only feet away from her back yard wall so I wouldn't think that belongs to the neighbors.

I was looking for information about who was at the game night and/or dinner at the sister's (AG's) house.
Who were the last to see Nancy in person besides family ?
Not sure if it's significant, but if it was a MahJong game, for instance, it requires at least four players.
I have a reason for wondering, but wanted to see if anyone had more information about Nancy's final hours.
Tia.
Imo.

I agree. When people were criticizing LE the first time they released the house but had to go back, I silently agreed with @MassGuy that yes, it wasn’t a good look but I’ve seen worse happen during an investigation and convictions were still easy to obtain. This happening again though…not only can their searches be called into question, but the whole investigation could be called into question if they “messed up” something this simple, twice.

I would hate for them to pay a fake ransom and it embolden a scammer to do it again
Is it a scam, do we know? Is it worth her life?

Somewhere upthread is a google map link showing where it is. And I recall a mention (unknown if verified) that the Circle K is near AG and SIL's house.

Maybe searching the thread for "Circle K" and looking shortly after it was first mentioned, might be the quickest way to find it.

MOO

this same investigative pattern of repeat visits to the crime scene by LE happened during the idaho 4 investigation, from what I recall, MOO.
Absolutely. The scene was never released in between visits while still unsolved though.

They have a lot of evidence -- I assume cell phone dumps from the entire Guthrie family, crime scene evidence/DNA, the family car they apparently seized. Maybe that will help move this forward.

enough folks. grow up.

1. why is LE/family being so cryptic about who dropped NG at her house that night? if it's not relevant, who cares? meaning, it's relevant...
2. why is LE/family being so cryptic about dinner/uber/pick-up? if it's not relevant, LE wouldn't care. the fact that they won't comment tells us a lot...
3. why is LE/family being so cryptic about...everything?

either SIL or AG picked up or dropped off NG. if an uber driver picked her up at any point, that should be known at this point.

Not unlike the tepe murders, IMO LE knows what they're looking for, they just can't prove it at this point...

this is so fishy it's ridiculous. IMO LE knows exactly what's going on and they simply don't have the evidence...
It takes time to get evidence results back from labs, from what I understand. Just my opinion, but they are likely waiting on those results.

We don't know that they didn't have police sitting on the house. We've also seen them set up cameras to monitor locations in previous cases. I remember the Jayme Closs case where a police camera captured someone breaking into the house weeks after the murders.

Can someone please give the cliff notes of today's updates for me? Minus the political mumbo jumbo about sources etc.
I'm seeing something about a camera but I can't read 100 pages tonight lol

Edited: I deleted my post of Trump speaking because I didn't realize it was Fox News.

Someone suggested up thread you are Brian E. If you are, did you see this camera when you went onto the property or did you only go to the front door.

Or maybe I’m just barking up the completely wrong tree 🤣
I mean, I could be wrong, but I don't think Brian E is from Mass? Lol

ETA: And yes, I'm not sure if he's still there, but the number of Brady/Patriots profile pics MassGuy has had over the years makes me pretty confident he comes from Mass, haha

The kidnapping could be authenticated by intimate details that a kidnapper provids to either LE/family/media and those details are confirmed by LE. Those details doesn't necessarily have to include proof of life, although that is certainly desirable. Proof of life after the fact would also almost certainly help LE locate the kidnapper, which would likely be a significant reason for a kidnapper not to give it.

JMO.

“Those details” are not what we are even talking about. Intimate details are not proof of LIFE. A person is.

This is very simple at this point. Proof of life. I’m not going on hypotheticals .

I can't even with this thread tonight. Teslas and roof cameras. Someone explain it to me like I'm 5 years old.
Teslas are "cyber cars". I think they're online via Starlink 24/7. Their cameras are always working.
