Interesting… she may have entered through the front door? Possibly someone came out of the bushes while she was entering, which may explain the scattered flowers and blood trail? Timeline may be off for the drop off by SIL. Abductor then transported her with her own car and returned the car…
Her family have confirmed she entered the garage when she was dropped home. Obv we at this point don’t know if that’s true.

Just my opinion, but maybe LE got some evidence results back from labs and now are curious to see whose dna is primary on the steering wheel. I've always thought it odd NG's cell phone was in the car, when it seems most people would have their phone in the house with them. Just my random thoughts/guesses, fwiw.
With her cell phone found inside her car? If so, I did not realize this.

If her phone was indeed in her car that makes no sense. She didn’t take her car to dinner so why would her phone be in tjere
Wouldn’t you need the phone for the Uber?

On paper, they can bring in writing analysts, they can examine the paper and where it is sold from and dusted for fingerprints...etc...

Using the computer to send ransom notes is so much hard or nearly impossible to trace.
But isn't it possible to trace computer submissions? How do you send untraceable ransom notes? You can't email them, right?

Upon more review I don’t think there’s any indication her phone was found in her car…can we strike this?

I'm feeling really hopeful about the cameras taken from the roof today by FBI. Albeit it should've been done 6 days ago.

Anyone know if these are also Google Nest? Or is this a different kind of camera?

They look like Reolink cameras and solar panels, but there are other brands on Amazon that look very similar.

Maybe the perp hide in her car while waiting on her to return last Saturday? Trying to think why they are just now taking her car in for processing.

Sorry but I can't be encouraged if she is deceased. I said I was on the fence. I don't know what you mean by a different point of view than me - were you always definitive that she was deceased?
Yes. I don't believe the left the house alive, but if she did, she's just got to be dead now.

If she was actually kidnapped for ransom, there would have been proof of life, not these bizarre games with news outlets as an intermediary, where they refuse to provide the one thing they need to provide to get paid.

And the delay in doing that too.

I’m early 40s and also still put 2 spaces after a full stop in anything I type. Not on WS but in my day to day work.
It’s obviously not a perfect science, of course- I just thought of it bc someone at work basically called me an old person for using two spaces. They made it seem like it was a stylistic choice when it was really just muscle memory…

Just speculating, but if someone else drove NG's car back to her home and put it in the garage, it might explain why LE is looking for Tesla video from cars that may have passed the vehicle, as that would definitively prove who was behind the wheel and at what time. Perhaps the Circle K video showed NG's car passing the store, and LE noticed at least one Tesla nearby. Pure conjecture on my part, so take it with a grain of salt, fwiw.

Of course I'm operating from a different point of view than you are. I'm waiting for a killer to be caught, and a body to be found.
Is it possible that this was never a kidnapping , but an attempt to cover up a murder?

When was it said that her phone was in her car?

I think if they were in fact doing that it excludes most people under 40

I wonder if the abductor (s) opened the car to look for a spare key or to access the opening and closing of the garage door when leaving with NG .

Many murdered people start out as missing…

Absolutely. But there are two possibilities as I see it.

The first is a murder, and some random person decided to take advantage when they were exposed to wall to wall coverage of Nancy being "kidnapped."

The second is an effort to misdirect law enforcement, done by the killer.

if that's the case then LE purposely left all those garage door openings off the time line.... or it's not possible since there was only the one opening and one closing of the garage door at the time NG got home from dinner.
