I imagine just a quick update about Nancy’s house search.

“We’ve towed the car, we’re going to probably be there until…”
but why a forensic truck, and two other vehicles ?

I mean manually by unlocking the cord from the belt especially used when electricity goes out or opener is broken.

The cord from the belt??

Actually, many new cars can be hooked up with your cell phone service and can be operated from the steering wheel. I used the "car phone" term meaning a cheap cell phone that she kept in her car so that she was never caught on the road without it. I have recently had a discussion with a cousin about how finicky the cell phone service hooked through the car can be as her grandson had driven her vehicle and somehow the settings were changed so it would take her 30 minutes to figure how to navigate through in order to call anyone. She's in her 70s and was quite irritated.
Similar experience to yours. The Lively phone marketed to seniors requires going through layers of menus to make a call. My mother can't do it. If anyone left a message, she wouldn't be able to clear the notification to make an emergency call.
We discontinued the subscription because she insisted. But we kept the phone plugged in on the console. That actually improves the odds she would be able to make an outgoing call to 911 in an emergency. And the contacts in it will help anyone who comes to her aid to get our numbers and call from their own phones.

Where are they? I'm sure they (LE) know where everybody is, I hope.

I sure hope they didn't put Sheriff Nanos in charge of keeping up with their whereabouts. 🤪

Why have evidence/analysis truck at AG's house if they only spent 5 minutes there? And I wonder what they were doing along the side of the house?
Maybe they were checking on a camera on the side of that house?

I wonder whether the family is elsewhere because they wanted to get away from the media circus, or because some of them are being questioned, or (sad possibilities) because they're being notified, making an identification, etc....

Why go to AG's house? Fairly sure LE knows where the family members are. And LE just spent 5 minutes along the side of the house. Of course, it's possible the side of the house led to a gate that went into their backyard. Still, they spent 5 minutes doing something . . . MO

If the phone really was in the car, the simplest explanation is that NG lost her phone in the car at some point during the day but still could communicate enough with her daughter via her Apple Watch. It’s been surmised she would likely have a cellular plan on the watch for the pacemaker updates. She would have full communication capabilities regardless of where the phone is.

Wouldn't be very safe for SG to let everybody know where she was staying. Especially with the person responsible for her mother's disappearance on the loose.

Camera is a real possibility. Thank you.

The cord from the belt??
Many doors have an emergency cord you pull down that unlatches from the belt to allow you to open door the old fashioned way, by hand.

No source ever said they found phone in car. ONE person said this in a post and y’all are running with it. Phone was in the home.
But was it? ;)

Nancy might have no longer wanted her Nest cam so she didn’t pay the subscription. She might not have had a moment to take them down or have someone else take them down. The base is nailed in. On Facebook she asked whether she should get a Ring or a Nest. She wanted to see wildlife. If she wasn’t seeing wildlife she may not have felt that it was worth subscribing to. It doesn’t sound like she wanted it for safety purposes. More of a novelty.

My 80s garage door and I know what you're talking about - I don't think there's a record of any kind on mine. There may be some sort of residual data trail in the transponders for the remotes, but certainly not from a manual open/close

I"ve seen it stated here several times that AG's house is empty right now, but I'm not seeing any links to articles verifying that and can't find anything online with that info.

Does anyone have a link to an article they can share stating that AG's house is currently empty/nobody is staying there?

TIA!

The pacemaker would still be going. She was just too far away from her phone for it to pick her up. Pacemakers last 5-15 years.
Ok. Duh. I feel dumb. Lol!

Several folks recall reading that the phone was in the vehicle.

Currently I suspect it was a second/backup phone in the car since for basic security one would assume NG would want her phone with her especially at night.

Or perhaps the perp put or left the phone in the car. Regardless, it's unconfirmed but more than just one person starting a rumor (not that that doesn't also happen lol)

Anyone else have a sore jaw and twitching eyes from trying to keep up?
Just me?
Also a giant headache and massive brain fog, but that could also be perimenopause

At the very beginning of the case there were indeed reports the victim's phone was in the car. I found it odd as well.
My late MIL kept her only cell/mobile phone in her car, to be used for emergencies. I don't think it was ever used. But it made her feel very modern and uptodate!

Anyone know who is filling in for SG?

Maybe to make an arrest. Didn’t go inside because nobody home. So left.
