There have been instances of LE pretending to do things for the medias sake to keep them occupied while the real investigation is happening elsewhere. I can’t remember the exact case of this but watched something recently. Like shining flashlights in the brush or just walking around with clipboards, could all be distractions. I hope that they have real leads!

I had the same thought. Are we looking at a bit of play acting.

I would agree.

But I bet freelancing criminal activity in cartel areas of Mexico without: a. Receiving the general permission of the local Cartel faction in advance. b. Respecting the faction by giving them a cut. Is very hazardous.

So, I agree that they would not initiate the crime. But if there is a connection in Mexico, a faction is likely waiting for a “tip”.

There is a lot of talk about 2 minutes being too short to get inside the house when NG was dropped off, and that it’s definitely too short for anyone to accompany her inside and get her settled. She is an 84 year old woman who seems very independent. She lost her husband a long time ago and raised three kids, so she’s lived a lot of life independently. At 9:45 at night, the last thing she might want is for someone to come inside with her. She may just have wanted to get to bed, which she seems quite capable of doing on her own.

He spoke to Savannah and then surged resources to the area, this was likely done prior to law enforcement having a clear picture of what happened.

So you would expect him to be receiving regular briefings, as he wants to show results.

If it's some random dude or group, I wouldn't expect a statement like what we heard to day.

He also described it has a “horrible situation” which to me came off as more personal or intimate in a way.

No? A deceased person could have sputum and blood leaving their mouth. Doesn't mean they would have to be alive to find sputum. She likely left alive, though IMOO.

Maybe Nancy's DNA i.e. blood from being transported - either alive or deceased.

If the vehicle of interest that was seen at Circle K was Nancy's, I am not understanding how her vehicle would have gotten back into her garage if the only opening of the garage was at 9:48 p.m. and the only closing was two minutes later at 9:50 p.m.

Maybe there was another opening and closing of the garage Sunday morning that LE just hasn't shared with the public.

Or the vehicle of interest seen at Circle K wasn't Nancy's and belongs to someone else.

Yeah i wouldn’t be surprised if LE just hasn’t shared with us the garage door opening and closing later on. That would be something worth holding back imo, especially if they believed the perp was someone that NG knew.

Or yes it could very well be that it wasn’t the vehicle caught on camera at the circle k.

If they towed Nancy’s car this morning, that means the car that sheriff said they seized and processed a few days ago was Annie’s car… that lines up with what Banfield said and is a bombshell. If they are innocent why is their car getting seized?

Another possibility is that it is standard protocol because that is the car that she was allegedly (according to family) the last known to have been in.

I really have no idea here but I think she may have still been alive when she left that doorway. Did the perpetrator have a hand over her mouth and NG sneezed? That mist of blood in the middle of those droplets could possibly indicate a sneeze.

Also, could one of the accomplices be a medical resident or a doctor? Someone with the necessary credentials to write prescriptions that would keep Nancy alive? Farfetched but.....

Just catching up here...Her car is important because its being reported that the watch was found in the car. They are looking for perps DNA when the watch was placed in the car. Hopefully they have found a profile for the perp.

I know Savannah personally, and the last thing I want to do is bring more pain to the Guthrie family. Imagine if your mom was abducted and the public was pointing the finger at you. The sting would be that much greater. All that said, as of this AM, they have collected the elusive white van and as you all know, a second note was sent to KOLD yesterday which has been verified as coming from the same encrypted server. This note apparently made contact with the family, responding to the videos made by Savannah and her siblings. We now have President Trump indicating that officials are close to identifying the abductor or abductors. The horrible thing now, of course, is that we have no proof of life. I PRAY that Nancy is alive after being without her meds for 7 days. It is totally possible. Let's remember that. In fact, billboards are now being put up in AZ and surrounding states asking for the public's help. The hard question now is: WOULD YOU HIT SEND to give millions in crypto to this abductor before the deadline on Monday? If no one is caught this weekend, Savannah will be struggling with the possibility that non-payment could mean death for her mom... MY HEART IS BREAKING FOR HER...

Every single person here is going to ask you what you mean about collecting the elusive white van. This is not information we have at the moment. Please elaborate.

My Mum is nearly 80, if someone was at her door in the early hours and she didn't recognise them, she would phone me, and definitely not answer the door. If there is no sign of a break in, then my question would be - what lured NG to open the door? Someone pretending to be in trouble? Someone she knew? Or was she simply tired and disorientated and went to the door on autopilot? Did someone threaten her or something close to her?

I would assume that they would have a general idea just based on the color as blood tends to turn darker after a certain amount of time.

IMO, if those were legit ransom notes from the kidnapper, they would have been left in Nancy's home. And the heading would have been Dear Savannah, We have your mom, please wire 4 million to this address within 24 hours or you will never see her again, No Joke

No copies to TMZ or WOLD , no waiting 4 days and then giving 2 different end dates.

I think the notes are deflections by the perps, to distract from the real situation

Hitting the button... if I had the money to do it and we don't have more info soon, I think I would. The company she works for should be offering to pay it. Would be a good PR move IMO and just get the rights to the 'story'.

I am shocked that NG’s house hasn’t been secured consistently. If true that a neighbour tipped LE to the camera on the roof of the Guest House, shame on LE.

I also want to know if NG is independently wealthy. Was NG chosen as a victim because of her wealth or that of her celebrity daughter?

BBM I *REALLY* hope that a reporter asks where NG's cane is next time there is an opportunity. It seems to me that it's whereabouts would be an important detail, but it has never been asked about or mentioned so far that I can find or read. Odd to say the least. imo
