Yes, even behind a VPN you are only masking your host IP address. Any digital photos, videos,let could create new digital fingerprints. Unless these people were cyber pros like at a nation state level and knew how to scrub everything. Then we are talking about whole new level of cyberware in America. For example North Korea does a lot of cyberware against America in regards of crypto theft against Americans. Billions. Look it up. But I mean only a high level nation state actor could scrub all the bits and pieces and for example even when north korea does steal crypto from an American we still know they did it. SO -- I've waited before making any comment because I felt we were all rushing to judgement. It's a human reaction to pin the crime on one of the nearest relatives, but it can also backfire. I know Savannah personally, and the last thing I want to do is bring more pain to the Guthrie family. Imagine if your mom was abducted and the public was pointing the finger at you. The sting would be that much greater. All that said, as of this AM, they have collected the elusive white van and as you all know, a second note was sent to KOLD yesterday which has been verified as coming from the same encrypted server. This note apparently made contact with the family, responding to the videos made by Savannah and her siblings. We now have President Trump indicating that officials are close to identifying the abductor or abductors. The horrible thing now, of course, is that we have no proof of life. I PRAY that Nancy is alive after being without her meds for 7 days. It is totally possible. Let's remember that. In fact, billboards are now being put up in AZ and surrounding states asking for the public's help. The hard question now is: WOULD YOU HIT SEND to give millions in crypto to this abductor before the deadline on Monday? If no one is caught this weekend, Savannah will be struggling with the possibility that non-payment could mean death for her mom... MY HEART IS BREAKING FOR HER...

with that light ordinance I am guessing any lighting would be very very subtle and not a major flood light etc. It is very dark out there at night and probably a front door light might not be allowed. I would hate that.

Thank you. I was thinking the same. Anytime we go out knowing we’ll be home after dark, we always leave our front door lights on. Arizona is beautiful and the dark skies with all of the stars is breathtaking, but I don’t think I’d ever be able to live there because of the restrictions on outdoor lighting.

It's troubling that for such an urgent, allegedly kidnap-for-ransom scenario, this case is dragging on and seems always to become stagnant.

I guess I expected to wake up this morning to a big break and am baffled to see once again the same going in circles.

I hope there will be a break soon.

It does make me wonder if the FBI is interrogating family members right now, hoping to get specific information as to where she is. Of course they'd have to get a confession to get that location, and who wants to admit that while your whole family's around? If they arrest immediately, the perps will lawyer up and they will be no closer to finding Nancy (who is likely deceased at this point).

I just don't see NG walking into her home and getting inside in the matter of two minutes unless she was using a "hurry cane," and Tommaso dropped her off and peeled wheels out of there...

IOW, this just doesn't make common sense to me. Anyone--unless you hate your MIL--is respectful and helpful. You are going to stop the car, open the garage door, walk her in at her pace, open the other door leading to the home (which might require a key??), go inside with her, ask her if there is anything that you can do for her before you leave...All that requires more than two minutes.

The last time I recall hearing of a kidnapper and a purported "white van" in the area was Laci Peterson. And we know how those turned out. Not many of these "weird" cases have happy endings.

Regardless of one's thoughts on him or this particular action, he did facilitate the cherry picking of the president of a 1st world Western nation out of his own palace in the middle of the night, and in just an hour or two, so I'd prefer to think that any perceived grandstanding by him can generally be backed up, and that any resources he has authorized in this case will be similarly utilized and ultimately prove fruitful.
