Can anyone explain why Fox News isn’t a credible source and AB is? Don’t give me some garbage about the 2020 election either.
That is the reason. Take it or leave it. AB is Ashleigh Banfield

Fox is MSM but it's not approved here.
Just to clarify - Fox is not unapproved because it isn’t main stream media. Tricia banned Fox several years ago for different reasons which I won’t go into here. But I will note that she did recently clarify that is FoxNews national stuff that is banned from WS and that local Fox stations are allowed as sources.

I hope I got that right Tricia :)

That "garbage" came from the site owner.

The deadline has passed per Mountain Standard Time.

Has the ransom been paid?

Where is Nancy?

  • #15,645
I do think way too much time and effort has been spent on this ransom note. It had all the signs of a hoax imo.

I just watched Savannahs new video there was definitely a sadness in it - I feel she is beginning to realise this will not have a good ending moo. In the others I felt she was trying to be optimistic

I would really like to know if the clothes she wore to the game / dinner evening are in her home or are they missing with her .

If she changed into bedtime clothing she was killed in and around the home , if she was still wearing the clothes she was seen in , she either didn't get the opportunity to go into the home and the perp set it up to look like " another' took her from her " bed "or she was followed into the home later on in the night on the pretence she was needed somewhere

I think it is someone Nancy knew , it could be someone that held a grudge for a long time or someone she recently had a confrontation with

Because of the darkness it may be difficult to make out licence plates

Sadly I think we are looking at a recovery and I pray the family get closure on that .

I don't think she was killed for what she had ,I think she was killed in an argument or because the perp felt she needed to go for a reason known to them

This family will never recover from this even if she is found , their boundaries will get smaller and circles tighter imo jmo

All good questions. But considering the pacemaker data - isn't it likely she was home until the time the data was no longer being recorded?
No because that linked to the watch and/or smartphone its more likely they were with her until one was moved away from the other, not sure we can be sure which it was

But I think someone said that Fox affiliates are okay. Does that mean, local Fox news stations? And they indeed may be better at local news stories.

I've followed dozens and dozens of cases with no Federal nexus, where the FBI is involved early on.

None of them were kidnapping cases, and none of them ever wound up being prosecuted by the Feds. All a law enforcement agency has to do is ask, and they will provide assistance. It happens all the time.
No, the FBI does not automatically investigate a case just because they are asked to
. The FBI only has the authority to open an investigation if there is a potential violation of federal law and the case meets certain internal criteria.

Just because in the end there’s not a federal prosecution doesn’t mean there wasn’t a strong indication of POTENTIAL violation of federal law initially.

Going to wait a little longer to see if it can be confirmed whether ransom was paid or not and whether any disposition is known, and if not I'll more strongly consider option 2, which was a lot of folks' (also reasonable) option 1.

In that case the only way her friend would see her would be in the video chat. Which is really strange for someone to notice and be worried about NG not being in the chat.
I guess it would depend on how big the church is. Our church is rather small and I can think of at least one person who cannot make it to church because of mobility issues. He is there in the live stream each and every Sunday. I am back and forth between watching the live stream and actually attendance. BUT--had I been watching the livestream and I didn't see him post an Amen or I Love that hymn or say anything---then yes I would be contacting his wife to ask her if he was doing ok. Albeit, we know the family quite well. But I don't think someone noticing someone wasn't in the livestream chatting (especially if they usually do) and following up on "is your mom feeling ok, I didn't see her in the live chat today" is unusual.

Is there any scenario where they have known SIL is the kidnapper and authorities haven’t made that public? Maybe they don’t know where he is, can’t get into contact and they were playing along, in the hopes that he still has her alive somewhere?

The perp had inner knowledge of the cameras and took time to remove some or at least the SD cards in others.
They had more knowledge than a random burglar, imo.
I was reading more about the cameras in the same NYT article already posted here. It seems they were tampered with around 1:47 AM. To me that's odd. If this were a planned kidnapping, and I believe it was, why didn't the kidnappers use the time she was away from the house to disable the cameras? They had hours to work. Perhaps they did not know she'd be gone. But if it were planned and they were scouting her I'd think they would have done it then rather than risk her hearing them and calling 911.

Combine that with her pacemaker disconecting from her phone at 2:28 AM would mean that the abductors were at house for at least 40 minutes. That seems like a vedry long time. I'd think they would want to be in and out within a few minutes, especially with a soft target like an old woman - grab her, duct tape her mouth so she can't scream, then get her in a vehicle as quickly as possible.

There's just a lot of weirdness here.

Great point about the pacemaker, I forgot.
Could her pacemaker data record as long as her watch was with her and not necessarily on her wrist ?

Can someone give me a TLDR from the last 2 days please?
LE went to AG's house Sat night and apparently were taking photos inside (maybe in the garage?) at some point. They were there for about 3 hours. LE went back to NG's house and looked in a septic tank behind her house and didn't seem to find anything. Ranson deadline passed a little while ago. No news on any bitcoin/money being exchanged.

What are the two options? Did you mean to reply to a post laying them out?

LAST TUESDAY?!?
I'm taking this to mean he hasn't been seen by media. Not necessarily that the family hasn't seen him

I have to agree that most complex investigations I have followed were assisted by the FBI. I think the distinction is assistance vs opening an investigation.

I feel so far that political is the only thing it genuinely can't be. Groups or people that do this kind of thing for political reasons want people to know while the media are still interested.

So far no mention has been made of either ransom communication being political in nature.
Maybe someone didn't like SGs politics ..however..this is still an abduction..or a murder and the body was stolen. I really don't understand the people who say it isn't an abduction..
