If the image is clear enough and the face is visible, the FBI's face recognition software might be able to identify him. I'm hoping an arrest is coming soon. This is just too much!

appreciate the info. still don't feel comfortable thinking SG was the golden child....i want to give NG the benefit of the doubt that she loved all her children equally.

The FBI is now offering a $50,000 reward in the search for Nancy Guthrie, who was reported missing on Feb. 1. CBS News' Andres Gutierrez and Anna Schecter have the latest.
Good reminder - there used to be public service info to plan ahead in case there is a fire at your house (like, think about all your home exit routes). I also read about an earthquake survivor who said - of all things - having shoes near the bed would have been good - he said there was broken glass from things falling and it was dark. I appreciate your idea.Need this also be said, but have a "break in plan".
In my 20's was staying with a boyfriend and we heard someone coming in through a window in the middle of the night (fortunately it was just his inebriated roommate who lost his key.....) BUT we realized we had no weapons, and no plan in that sort of situation. Both of us sort of froze up.
I think about it now based on where I live, where family lives (the layout of homes, neighborhood, etc.) What would your plan be? Perhaps hitting an emergency app (Noonlight is amazing), having pepper spray or some other weapon near your bed/nearby, having a planned escape route or hiding place, etc.?
Many of us go into fight or flight in scary situations - a plan can be helpful for both in your home and outside of it (in your car, in a public place, etc.) and practicing what you could do while you're mentally sound and not in a moment of panic.
i'm trying to think back to the timeline of the Tepe case.....i could be wrong but it seems to me that LE most likely had MM on their radar when they released the video of the POI walking in the alley. it wasn't long after releasing it that he was arrestedJMO but I doubt LE would release a photo of the suspect to the public before making an arrest if they had already identified him. This rules the SIL out for me at this point.
How so? I am not following. Are you saying you think the images are kept on the camera? Removal does not seem to be the issue here rather than that she didn't have a cloud sub so the images were live pushes? The Sheriff talked about working w/ the company but this was the issue he pointed out.Yes, this explains why it has taken them so long.
Thanks for the link!
Why do you think the suspect took NG out through the front door rather than through the garage?I’m thinking it’s a stranger acting alone. Time spent in the home consisted of slowly clearing the house, finding NG room, securing her, disabling camera, moving car to the front door, retracing to make sure no evidence left, then taking NG out through the front.
you had replied to my post about a golden child because the post i had replied to was wondering if SG was the golden child because NG virtually attended her church. not saying you said that or were implying that too, just restating my position. Why my post I never posted the words Golden Child!?
I think A is in a terrible postion and her siblings are holding her close.
We care givers appreciate the loving thoughts of siblings and their contributions even if they are not close in location but it can put a strain on a in town care givers marriage more so if the partner is also expected to help, imo.
I in no way took away from NG loving them all its just some can be a lot of fun while others of us are feeling the role reversal that comes with care taking an elderly parent even if they are mostly ok. We worry up close!
all imo
