New images in the search for Nancy Guthrie: Over the last eight days, the FBI and Pima County Sheriff’s Department have been working closely with our private sector partners to continue to recover any images or video footage from Nancy Guthrie’s home that may have been lost, corrupted, or inaccessible due to a variety of factors - including the removal of recording devices. The video was recovered from residual data located in backend systems. Working with our partners - as of this morning, law enforcement has uncovered these previously inaccessible new images showing an armed individual appearing to have tampered with the camera at Nancy Guthrie's front door the morning of her disappearance. Manufacture/brand name of backpack? etc?

He preplanned this and brought a backpack yet he had to use plant material for the front camera. Why didn’t he just bring a piece of tape and cover it up? What does this say to us?

Seems young-ish to me. The clothing, the way he walked, etc. Just a guess.

I am now leaning towards someone in their extended circle (hired help's friend/acquaintance) based on these pics. They would know NG had a celebrity daughter who would potentially pay a ransom for her mom's return. The ransom notes could be real.

I thought the same thing but when I zoomed in, it looks like he has on a face mask underneath the ski mask. The eyebrows appear drawn on like a thin line and it appeared to have another layer so I’m thinking a face disguise under the ski mask! But the eyes are definitely the abductors.

IMO the companies that owned the cameras that didn't have subscriptions finally felt the pressure enough to look into their archives and release the footage that they surely had on their servers. JMO

Yes it just seems like it took a long time esp. with a missing and potentially endangered person - IIRC (no link) info from phone records etc can be turned over quickly... Makes me wonder would any footage have been provided if this didn't have the publicity?
