If they release the video and immediately upon releasing the video perform some sort of rescue the timing would seem odd to me...IDK.. I hope though for a miracle and she is found safely

They have been inundated with calls... this person has been ID'd imo

Am hoping that is where SWAT is going now!

But likely after the camera was disabled/removed.

JMO
If only covered, is there sound? Might not see Nancy but can they hear her?

Had anyone mentioned about LE searching landfills? What day does the trash run there? The perp could have tossed their gloves, clothes, etc in the trash nearby. The pants on this person look like a slim fit type of pant. The top looks like a fleece lined, zip front jacket. Kind of like this one.
Looks close, but it looks like there is a thin elastic band at the cuff that is a different color than the sleeve.

This might have been discussed, but the leaves on camera is so stupid that the whole thing almost feels staged. Could it be possible she died at SIL AG's house, and one of them dressed up to stage this kidnapping? Writing it out makes me realize how wild that theory sounds, but people will go to great lengths to cover up a crime.

If not^ It certainly does look like a crazy who possibly didn't even realize the nest camera was there, he seems startled by it. Which makes me think he didn't stake out the house well beforehand- maybe drove in from out of town and attacked quickly?

My husband has just waltzed in and asked the following questions:
1) Are there signs of forced entry?
2) If this person had a key, all those layers of gloves would impede digging it out of a pocket and using it.
3) Why would an elderly person (he arched his eyebrow at me for this one) open the door in the middle of the night when someone rings the doorbell?
4) If you have a doorbell camera, wouldn't you check it? And if you see such a getup on your doorstep, would you open?

His opinion is that the front door was a distraction and there were 3 people: a driver waiting outside of camera range, someone going around the back of the house, and the person on the porch.

Mind you, he is another old person who has spent the day doing his day job and has just emerged to ask these things before doing our disabled son's pre-dinner routine with him.

Please be patient with us. We mean well.
Are you married to Peter Falk / Columbo?

The flower’s residue on the perp’s gloves would be a neat bit of evidence CSI style if they find a suspect with a matching pair.

I will be disappearing in a bit to do the very grown-up, very responsible things a person my age is tasked with but I was wondering, and forgive me if this is an absolutely IDIOTIC question (as I said, we have a different brand of camera):

Doesn't AG, who doesn't live terribly far from NG's house, have alerts for the doorbell?

I know. Very dumb of me. I feel chastised even before posting, but if I lived closed enough to a fragile, elderly relative (ha! I have none...that layer of family is all long-gone!), and this technology was in place, I would want to be able to "check in" if something suspicious pinged?

Before anyone scolds me, or rolls their eyes at my silliness, I come from a different culture and generation and these things come to mind randomly.
I think this is a very good question.

People can check cameras on their phones and be alerted. Her daughters phone could do this. But the locals claim its a safe neighborhood. So it is likely no one thought of that. Bet the locals won’t claim tht anymore. Crime can happen to anyone. Evil exists everywhere. I’m from a different generation too. I’ve seen it all.

I thought a previous post said she had left her hearing aids? Would a doorbell/knock wake her up?

If there is sound are they not sharing that purposely with the public?

The latest and most bizarre being the suggestion the person is intersexed.
There’s a much greater chance that:

- what people think is a manicured eye brow is just the balaklava creating that appearance
-it could be a male with a manicured eyebrow (men do ALOT more personal grooming these days)
-the thick eyelashes belong to a man. There are many men with gorgeous thick eyelashes

watching the FBI GOING door to door near AG home and a giant Javelina goes walking by. This place is surreal.

Does anyone know if anyone is streaming live footage of the homes/area right now? I know NBC kind of was before, and Brian Entin, but haven't been able to find anything right now. Curious what LE are doing there still, if at all

EDIT: To answer my own question, it looks like JLR Investigates on Youtube is live at NG's house right now (I think it's her house), and there's an active live comment section where people are talking about possibility of the SWAT trucks coming there
Doesn't look like NG's house. look at the roof

I am praying she is found safe and fed. My worry is that someone has ignored her the past few days. There’s worse things but I do worry about hydration and such. I know how it feels to be old, even when you are healthy. It isn’t always easy to obey a command either. Bones and muscles don’t do what we want at times. I just want to cry. How could someone do this to an old person!
I completely agree! 🩷

Based on LE's timeline and the broken lantana on the front porch with pieces on top of Nancy's blood I think this was a pretty abrupt kidnap as far as getting in and out especially when considering Nancy had some trouble with mobility.

The front door nest video disconnection was at 1:47 a.m.

Software detects that a figure (a person or animal) is on video at 2:12 a.m.

Nancy's pacemaker app shows a disconnect from her phone at 2:28 a.m.
