Posting for those who may have missed these photos from earlier today.

New images in the search for Nancy Guthrie:

Over the last eight days, the FBI and Pima County Sheriff’s Department have been working closely with our private sector partners to continue to recover any images or video footage from Nancy Guthrie’s home that may have been lost, corrupted, or inaccessible due to a variety of factors - including the removal of recording devices. The video was recovered from residual data located in backend systems.

Working with our partners - as of this morning, law enforcement has uncovered these previously inaccessible new images showing an armed individual appearing to have tampered with the camera at Nancy Guthrie's front door the morning of her disappearance.

In one picture, he is staring stright ahead at the front door like he's waiting on her to open it. He looks like a visitor who is comfortable there. Weird.

I see another helicopter circling on flight track radar. Not sure exactly how close it is to Nancy’s house though. Looks like it’s on top of Mount Lemmon.

Saliva that was placed onto his glove(s) from inserting and removing the flashlight from his mouth?
That's why i do not get that they didn't secure the plant on the floor for dna testing, baffles me really

neither the devers case or the delphi case had footage of this quality. their footage quality was really terrible, not basically an up close shot of the face.

that said, with his disguise, it will probably take someone who knows him fairly well to reach out to the police. and who knows if they'll be willing to do that depending on the type of company he keeps...

Or tracking the place he bought all those items. Maybe a shopkeeper remembers someone coming in to buy a ski mask, which is a pretty memorable thing to buy at this time of year in a warm place?

I wonder if NG was drugged at dinner. The perp doesn't seem to be too concerned about her being awake.
She probably wasn't wearing her hearing aids.

Kidnappers might be insulted by $300 and take their anger out on NG.
More likely, they are concerned they are about to be found out. Guessing they will just leave the area and leave her alone.

I would put good money on some teenager thinking this was hilarious and doing it. The pizza guy is a victim of a prank IMO.
Worth checking it out…entire situation being BIZARRE!

as @Fargo explained upthread, a pacemaker only communicates with its device once a day, usually during the night. So unless the fact of the last several communication attempts having failed changes that to some sort of frequent connection attempt, this wouldn't work unless the phone happened to drive past wherever she is JUST at the right moment for its daily attempt. (which from the initial data seems like it might be 2-2:30am in NG's case)

MOO
My husband's pacemaker has triggering events setup in addition to the daily data dump. If his heart rate goes above or below a certain level an alert is sent to the doctor.

That's a good point, I'm trying to figure out if this is some setup however $300 instead of 6 million. I wouldn't bite. IMO

Yes + middle of the night and little old lady...I don't think he was concerned about a struggle.

A test deposit.
Exactly. It's a new account and it's treated like all new accounts. You cant just put money in an account and expect it to be ready to go that minute. Theres a grace period.

Small amount deposited to bitcoin may be to verify it is going to the intended recipient.

I don't typically post so I apologize in advance if this question has been asked and answered... Is anyone familiar with the type of vegetation the perp pulled out and whether or not it has any prickles on it? I ask because I'm curious if the gloves worn by the perp may have been punctured. Thank you.

$300 is an odd amount for a test transaction... I've never tested a transfer with more than $5, but I guess I'm in a different tax bracket than anyone involved here!

My guess, that random small amount, will just be someone who found out the number interjecting into case.

If FBI made a payment to use as lead...it would be a high amount. Likewise, TMZ have $$ so I don't believe they would use such a paltry amount to test the account.

Satellites likely. I just wonder why they waited so long. Technology has been there for years.
I think they waited until they knew the ransom request was a hoax.

JMO

ETA - I think they waited to release video until they knew ransom was a hoax
