I know hindsight is 20/20 and we are not in LE shoes, but I posted on here back before Thursday deadline that FBI should drop an insignificant amount of $ into the bitcoin wallet to see what the person does.

It is becoming apparent now that FBI deposited <$300 and had Harvey break the news on TMZ to get the guy to check his wallet which presumably allowed LE to trace his location.

Why wasn't this done earlier? I know it's easy to be critical of actions but when somebody's life is at stake- minutes, hours, and DAYS matter.

Zoom in there are two army helicopters Picacho State Park (one just to the east and one south near Avra) as well as a private helicopter.

That is north of Tucson, and there is a miltary airfield near there. I don't think this is related.

It seems to be two separate flights with a weird interruption of location tracking in the middle? Not sure how this works, but it was off Flight Radar for a long while and then popped back up after taking off from the hospital.

JMO. Agree. They probably had the videos for some days. Releasing the videos prior to the expiration of the ransom deadline could have jeopardized NGs safety if family was thinking of paying the ransom. It’s only after SG posted the defiant video, the FBI released the suspect’s videos. JMO

Landed at behind the homes and beside a fire road? at Ver Patria and Ginter in Rio Rico and was there for awhile before liftoff. JMO.

I think people have to realize that Savannah is a very famous and high profile media star and this case has recognition and awareness at the highest levels of the government. The best people have been working on this case, regardless of how it looks or what anyone thinks. Do you have any idea what it took for those Google employees to dig through all that crap to find this data? They probably wouldn't do that for just anyone either.
