Agreed. This was all a plan, with the video releases. Someone knew the information and was not speaking up. Videos then released to make people believe they had no info, and hours later they are questioning an individual.
Plan by who or whom?

Staging/SWAT teams/investigations today near Guthrie homes could have been distraction.

Or, to be ready to go after accomplices in the Tucson area (this is assuming the Rio Rico action is related)

Speculation/JMO

POI detained in Rio Rico, now the helicopter return flight sourcing from Rio Rico? Sure hoping this is Nancy on the LifeNet!! How amazing that would be!!
Wouldn't it, though !
Trying not to get my hopes up too much, however ....
Would be wonderful to get some good news.

The life flight could be for the person detained or an officer injured.

Forgot where but saw somewhere say NG hasn't been found yet. Could be whoever was detained put up a fight and someone got injured along the way? But i'm with you and hoping for the best.
I would presume they wouldn't medivac an injured suspect?

Pure speculation but is it possible NG was dropped off by her captor at a hospital a bit ago after getting spooked by the photos? Then when they fled, this triggered the police response. And now she is being transported to a better hospital? The LifeNet flight shows it leaving the larger hospital after a weird gap in the transponder near Rio Rico. Again, entirely speculation, just an idea.

Holding my breath. Another Olympics, long ago. Jim McKay coming on the air to deliver news on the Munich hostages. That’s what this feels like. Hoping for a different outcome here.
First Jim McKay got reports all hostages were rescued. Shortly after, he announced "they're all gone." I'm trying to temper expectations that this leading to a living person being rescued but I can't help but hope against hope.

I know hindsight is 20/20 and we are not in LE shoes, but I posted on here back before Thursday deadline that FBI should drop an insignificant amount of $ into the bitcoin wallet to see what the person does.

It is becoming apparent now that FBI deposited <$300 and had Harvey break the news on TMZ to get the guy to check his wallet which presumably allowed LE to trace his location.

Why wasn't this done earlier? I know it's easy to be critical of actions but when somebody's life is at stake- minutes, hours, and DAYS matter.

JMO
Checking a wallet is not a traceable activity. If any one of us had the bitcoin address, we could go look at the balance right now and the government would not be able to tell that we did it.

No snark intended but y'all bitcoin and blockchain and crypto do not work the way that other accounts/finances work. While it is not impossible to identify the owner of a bitcoin address, it's also not impossible for a bitcoin address owner to stay completely unidentifiable.

SWAT detained the POI. But it was one of 3 teams.

I think you are right- the other two teams were a distraction for the team that actually executed the warrant.

They could've found some other crimes unrelated in the same area where maybe others were found in need. Just a thought.

Or an unrelated car wreck, heart attack, etc. JMO

The helicopter return flight seems to start from either this building or the area behind it? It seems to be a general community center.

Life flight just passed the airport it came from, didn’t land there

As much as I want Nancy to be found alive, I fear that if this Lifeflight tracking had legs we would be hearing a lot of buzz about this from various reporters and folks who work in Tucson at hospitals / EMT / etc,.

Realistically, who isn’t eager to share good news?

People whose livelihoods depend on their following HIPAA.

Sounds like he talking about video from cloud data that was marked for deletion because the customer opted out of a subscription which would have stored the videos for much longer. He is making it sound more complicated than it actually is. But then "Google turns over video it has on it's own servers" doesn't sound as exciting. Also, Google may be hesitant to reveal they are actually retaining video for that long for people who are not subscribed to their service as it may raise privacy concerns.
yeah, that's not what I got out of that at all.

Google or FBI or a combination of much smarter people then me ... put their heads together and fixed it and got the video and pics we saw today.

I honestly don't care how they got it, they did... and hopefully it leads to whoever took NG and leads to her coming home.
