I agree, but understand. NBC is covering the Olympics and Savannah is a part of their family. But I do wish every victim got this much attention. Hopefully, as technology advances, that will happen. 🌻🌻
Yes, if it weren't for this tragedy, Savannah would be at the Olympics right now. This is meaningful to the NBC team there.

Do we know if the photos released today were related to the camera detecting motion by no footage due to no subscription? Maybe it just took them a few days to recover the images?
Google was able to help the FBI retrieve the footage. It was turned over to the FBI this morning, IMO.

No link, but Fox is saying on the TV that the suspect was stopped via a traffic stop.

Maybe it's going to Banner University Medical center?
Yes.

They picked up a patient from the hospital in Nogales - Holy Cross. I don’t think this is what everyone is hoping for.

So Pima is saying it's a traffic stop. But SWAT deployed for that arrest and ultimately detained the POI.

It happened hours before it was announced - like 4 hours prior to right now. FYI

Past the airport and into Tucson!

Edit - landed at a medical facility it appears!

I would presume they wouldn't medivac an injured suspect?

Of course they would. If this was someone who was identified as a real suspect, they want them alive and in a controlled area, where they can interview them.

Putting a potential suspect in an ambulance for an hour on a very busy highway would be a bad choice.

Heading towards Tucson International Airport, so may be going home base. JMO.
Currently looks like it's landing at Banner/University Medical Center at University of Arizona campus

The life flight could be for the person detained or an officer injured.

Forgot where but saw somewhere say NG hasn't been found yet. Could be whoever was detained put up a fight and someone got injured along the way? But i'm with you and hoping for the best.
Oh no, I really hope it’s not a hurt officer. I didn’t even think of that. Fingers crossed for a second
As much as I want Nancy to be found alive, I fear that if this Lifeflight tracking had legs we would be hearing a lot of buzz about this from various reporters and folks who work in Tucson at hospitals / EMT / etc,.

Realistically, who isn’t eager to share good news?
So true, well hopefully they will have second person detained shortly.

Life flight just passed the airport it came from, didn’t land there
Just started banking left, and is now hovering over Banner Univ Medical Center--do they have a helipad?

If they wanted the suspect well and talking...IMO
ITA.
Time to nail a poi or possible suspect.
Wonder if the detained person has any link to AG or the SIL ?
Imo.

All the life flights i've seen land near University of Arizona
If it is her, maybe she needs a higher level of care. Last I was out there, a Mayo Clinic campus was under construction in Phoenix. Mayo Clinic (in MN at least) is one of if not the top hospital in the country.

So do you think it's more likely the person of interest, injured while being sought and detained?
