Just to add- a lot of elderly are on blood thinning medications that makes them more prone to bleeding from minor scratches.

Or, as happens to my elderly mom, NG could have nicked her arm and few drops trickled down before she even noticed it. Especially if she doesn't regularly use the front door as her main entrance. She could have been out there trimming bushes, got her arm snagged by a thorny branch, and didn't notice it immediately. Maybe she only noticed it when she went back into the garage, for example, not realizing she had left a few drops on the front porch. This is my THEORY as to why the blood is there and why it isn't a part of the crime scene. Wouldn't LE have cordoned off the porch if it was related? Have you ever, say, nicked a knuckle that started bleeding but didn't realize it until way after the fact?

The stripe looks much too narrow to be the chest strap of a backpack.

Most, if not all, backpack chest straps have a connecting latch right in the middle of the chest where the two sides of the strap come together.

I can't find it anywhere now but last Thursday evening I was watching the CourtTV livestream and their reporter mentioned that an adjacent neighbor also had her cameras disconnect that night. I've looked on the CourtTV website and YouTube channel and they don't have their livestream up from that evening... maybe LE asked them not to put that out there. But I definitely heard the reporter clearly.

Physically disconnected, as in they were stolen? NG’s doorbell camera wasn’t disconnected from the internet - that’s how it caught the masked person. And another camera detected motion after that.

I don't have a link, it was on a live feed yesterday. When FBI was going house to house, a reporter asked one of the residents what the FBI was asking. He said they were looking for a camera that was thrown out.

I think this is just what LE told him. I think he was geolocated by LE as being at property (likely simply delivering a package sometime prior to abduction). LE thought he fit Lantana guy description, so these 2 things were enough for PC.

When you find the exact jacket, what will you do with that information? Why is it important for us to know? What can WE do with that information on this website to advance the case? LE yes. If you go to FBI's page which displays the photos released, the 4th photo (L to R) POTENTIALLY shows a dark mark on the skin between the glove and the cuff. The mark can also be seen in the next photo but not as well.

The image shown on the news was much more clear for some reason, and more suggestive of a tattoo. But I still take it with a huge grain of salt since I don’t see it referenced anywhere else. HOWEVER, there was a portion of Carlos’s tattoo that strongly resembled the photo I saw on the news. Lesson learned- I will now pause and take pictures of new bits of info. like that. The guest did mention that it only appeared as if it could be a tattoo.

It is part of the crime scene! It was tested for DNA. You can also see in camera footage that blood drops were NOT there when the perp was trying to take the Nest cam off. ***DNA tests showed blood on Nancy Guthrie's front porch was a match to her, and a doorbell camera was disconnected in the early hours of Sunday morning, the sheriff has said.*** Images show masked person on Nancy Guthrie's porch the night she went missing.

So, the "why" is still unanswered. If the object was to murder an 84 yr old, it would seem it would have happened in her home. Robbery? Nothing taken. Doubtful it has anything to do with SG or the Olympics.

Why take her? Ransom would be the foremost answer. Seems ransom is closer to being legit reason, but it's not been paid. Now what?

The private helicopter was a suggestion, I didn’t say anything about gondolas - that was another user - (but did ask if there were any rivers in the area).

As for the “animal attack”, I suggested animals could have eaten her body, not that she died because of an animal attack.

It’s simply a case of looking at the case from a different angle. I apologise if it has confused or upset anybody.

If FBI gets a tip, saying it’s this “guy” he’s got suspicious behavior, has that backpack and been talking non stop about NG … you think fbi says … no - let’s W like a dangerous suspect, let’s not talk to him because he’s on an hourly wage.

I had heard that but then I also heard there was a $5 million deposit sometime after that being reported. Don't know how much truth there was to the $5 million--as things were all over the place yesterday as well and media was all over the place too.

Yesterday, I posted about a Israeli guy who does blockchain forensics and he was going to reach out to the investigators to offer his help. My understanding from reading that article was that they generally deposit a small amount. I thought the article said under $200, but I could be mistaken. Yeah, approaching the front door is really strange. I wonder if he was hoping the door would be unlocked and he wouldn’t have to go through much effort. Definitely seems like he was a bit bumbling and inexperienced.

I’d hope that would make it easy to catch him - he certainly doesn’t seem like a criminal mastermind - but it hasn’t so far. :/

It seems the perp(s) planned for NG to exit through the front door. I don't know why. Because they didn't want to drive down the driveway but stay in front with the car? idk

Leaning towards this. If this was the plan, and she passed immediately from shock, could explain why the prep was in the house for so long. Awaiting further instructions? Freaking out and trying to figure out what to do with the body?

Wide set eyes are a symptom of fetal alcohol syndrome. This guy's slow movements and seemingly illogical decisions are also indicative. Not to incriminate all people with mental challenges, but from my amateur observation, many criminals do have some sort of mental defect.

Glad i'm not the only one who thought this. Something about the eyes is not typical. But FASD usually presents with thin upper lip which the subject lacked. IMO

Something isn’t adding up. An anonymous tip isn’t usually divulged to stir up drama like this. Also, I don’t believe you can get a search warrant for a home based on the shape of someone’s eyes.

So many things aren’t even making sense right now in this case. I’m not even sure releasing the security footage right away was a good idea. It’s wasting time when the public isn’t really going to recognize someone based on the pics given.
