Possible explanation for bizarre behavior on camera:
1) Perp is startled by camera
2) knows someone might get an alert and look at the camera feed
3) has to think fast; blocks camera with hand (back of hand because he was grasping something?)
4) realizes anyone looking will still see a hand
5) decides to use flowers so that if someone looks, it looks natural

That's still not a good or likely explanation, but it's all I've got. Other idea is a calling card or it was meaningful to the perp (mentally ill?).

IANAL but I believe it would depend on how the revokable trust is set up. Someone earlier in this thread posted info on the house from property records and it indicated it was owned by NG in a revokable trust. There is usually a clause about control of the asset if the owner is no longer capable of managing their affairs.
Thank you, I recall the document showing the revocable trust but don’t know much about how those work. That’s an interesting angle IMO.

Judges almost certainly feel public pressure too, and I bet sometimes even get anxious themselves about a popular true crime's outcomes. This judge could've been given IP coordinates that were spoofed to this guy and found it compelling enough to deliver the warrant. Particularly if the guy had been in the general area at some point in the general timeframe (geofencing or whatever they call that).

My understanding is the guy was actually cleared. Stated so by LE. That isn't something they would say if they didn't know for sure, because a prosecutor would have to deal with an onslaught of reasonable doubt, and a jury pool who probably knows enough about law and this case to draw skepticism.

JMO.
BBM

Do you mind posting a link to LE stating he's been cleared?

ok as if it wasn't borderline absurd/ridiculous before, it's beyond pathetic sadness now.

there is video (on fox so i can't post it) of the driver of a white SUV pulling up to LE this afternoon claiming to be a G family PI. LE clearly waves him through, so either the driver is lying, the family is lying, and/or LE is completely incompetent. or it wasn't a PI at all, and LE is covering up who was really there...

mass media video shows a calm, slow-walking person rambling to NG's front door (without 'blood trickle' behind) in the middle of the night, trying to hide the nest/ring cam with...weeds? seriously? then the cam disappears? c'mon. this is a joke. if anyone can find a verified time stamp of the 'intruder' on a stolen camera/google cloud, i still won't belive it.

no claim/verification of AG/SIL's car being towed, but LE's been to the house at least a handful of times. they're finally going into the foothills to search miles of cacti, yet two days ago they're looking into sceptic tanks on the property. ok.

it's what we don't know at this point we should be focused on.
Mods have given the okay to use FOX on this forum as a valid source so you can post it.

A source close to the Guthrie family tells Fox News the family did NOT hire a private investigator. The source says reports claiming they did are not true.

I bet it was just a private security guy. It has been widely reported that the family hired a private security firm to keep people away from the family's home. When I first read the post about a "private investigator" I even wondered about that. Because the reporter tweeted the guy dropped off some additional security signage. I think the reporter misheard private security as private investigator. JMO.

I mean using SQL if you sorted by region (to encompass a reasonable radius), queried for these specific items, and maybe picked a date range of last month or two. You'd probably get some interesting results. I just don't know if regional managers or Walmart as an entity have databases like this.
I don't know the specifics of their retail system, but I do know Wal-Mart can pull up information on when which delivery was received by which location to the hour:minute:second it was scanned into the warehouse.

I worked as a DBA for a supplier to Wal-Mart years ago.

Their deliveries, like their sales, are just driven by bar-codes so I would imagine they would be able to do the same. The question is how long they retain the data.

Would a family have to wait for someone to be declared dead before selling a home, or is the years-long wait just for things like life insurance?
In my state when a trust deed is recorded the successor trustee is named in the deed with trust powers - that may allow them to convey this property per the trust - if assets are names in the trust the successor trustee may be able to disperse according to the terms of the trust - JMO

Either/or. " Whilst" is used frequently.
I have a good friend from NW London, and he uses whilst all the time. Has me using it often, as well. :-)

New info. So there was a black glove found on the side of the road this afternoon. It was like 1.5 miles from Nancy’s house.

These two gloves were apparently found much closer.
So 3 gloves? Then I heard a ski mask?

I feel like we need a “possible evidence” located list and where they were located on the map. I can’t keep up, so I can no longer think clearly. I can’t even imagine how the FBI/LE are doing it.

Good Lord, what is going on with this case ?!?!

wondering now if the perp could have worn two pairs of gloves. like for whatever reason. it could screw any hope of DNA if it's the outer pair we found. otoh, maybe someone who knows gloves could tell us that it's pretty hard to do because of friction or whatever.
He did put a flashlight in his mouth at one point and then likely touched it afterwards. One can only hope 🤞

Or intentionally misleading
Someone pretending to be young, poor, inexperienced, using drugs or alcohol. The stereotype smash and grab robber looking for drug money? Robbery goes sideways, kid panics, takes the body out of the home to hide evidence.

Who might stage the crime this way?

The grabbing of some weeds/flowers to put up against the camera is SO odd that I've been considering the idea that this is a young man with very little experience in anything and/or a young man with mental issues of some type. The extreme weirdness of this case tends to make me lean toward the mental angle, at least on the part of the male on the video. MOO.

I have the luck to actually be in Tucson right now, so I've obviously been following it closely. I don't have any ties here (I'm on vacation) so I can't provide any insider info. But dang, who needs insider info when you have Brian Entin working like a dog!
What if he is mentally challenged? What if there's some young computer geeks that set him up. They could've planned out the whole thing, ransom and kidnapping. Starting out as a joke but later becoming a challenge to see if they can pull it off. Only they didn't plan for NG to pass from the trauma. So they had to improvise the ransom. I know it sounds farfetched but it would potentially cover all the bases IMO.

Walmart brand everything fits the bill of young, lacking money, inexperienced.
I’m not American so I don’t know much about Walmart. How does wearing that brand correlate to someone young and inexperienced?

Honestly, I cant recall a bigger street-circus shitshow of a case and I honestly hate it for this seemingly sweet, dear lady.
